First of all, do I have to leave any stars? I’ve read comments of other people who have stated this and now I know from personal experience what that means.
I had a terrible experience that started from the get go. Walked into Arby’s as I’d like to see the menu before I order. We had enough time to go over the menu 10 times as the employees were in the back caring on the old conversation without even acknowledging us. After a period of time, a female employee finally came to the front and said sorry but she had to finish washing whatever needed to be washed. I guess that is a priority before customers, which as I said at the beginning started off bad from the get go.
I noticed pictures that showed those steak sandwiches that are described as “butter garlic”. That sounded good so I ordered two of those along with other items that totaled 7 in all. It wasn’t a lot as we were going home and this was going to be our dinner. I wife and I had just picked up my son who came in from a trip so we were a bit hungry. When it opened up the bags that were holding the contents we noticed that one of the steak sandwiches was not included. Since there was no phone number on the receipt I could not get back to them to let them know of their mistake.
The next day I had a chiropractic appointment which was around the corner on Tropicana and did not intend to stop by Arby’s and for that reason didn’t have my receipt on me. The location of this particular Arby’s is located at 4830 S Fort Apache Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89147. Since it was on my way home, I made a hasty decision and stop by anyway. At the time that was it was in there so I asked the girl at the counter who the manager was and she ask the manager to come up front to speak to me. I told her what it happened the night before and she asked me for my receipt. I explained I had no intentions of stopping but she insisted on the receipt which I don’t think that there’s much proof and if I was shorted a sandwich or not but I continued to explain why I stopped. In the meantime the girl who had served me the night before walked by and I asked her if she remembered me stopping by the night before and ordering? Sensei made a comment on how good the garlic butter steak sandwiches looked she didn’t remember me ordering that. I asked the manager if this was not better than my receipt in hand but to be remembered by the person who serve me? The manager turn to speak to the sales person, quietly for me not to hear, and then they just both turned and walked away. But then there were two other customers who had been in line and Probably be by now know of my predicament. I did not want to seem like a person who would conjure up a story just to get a FREE SANDWICH!!!! Since there was no further action at either the manager or the worker were taking, I left.
When I went home I noticed on the receipt that there was a part that read “ email Katie’s for comments or concerns” so I did. I stated exactly what happened. I got a prompt reply the next day requesting the location of this Arby’s and I replied with the location and attached a copy of my receipt that I still had. This all happened last week and to date I have not received a reply. I guess when advertisements say “please leave comment or concerns” just is there as a formality that really doesn’t mean anything. In this case a simple reply after I supply everything they asked for it would’ve sufficed But maybe they have too many disgruntled customers to keep up with replies of this nature. Most of their products are good but if management can’t even stand behind them it brings that company down in my eyes. As there are many sandwich places around, I doubt that I will be a customer of or ever recommend Arby’s in the future. Too bad a place with good tasting sandwiches left such a bad taste.
I’ve read other reviews when people state that they“have to leave at least star” to have there post reviewed, so here’s 1 star left for “ my comments and concerns” left...
Read moreI Usually Love Arby's Food, but we have had a few Food Issues that have ALWAYS been fixed at other Arby's! This day we had been at a Dr.'s Appt., We live Over an Hour away so We were hungry & this Arby's was Convenient! We ordered, (Drive Thru Only!) We ordered their 2 for $6 Sandwiches, #1 Beef & Cheddar, No BBQ Sauce, I Wanted the Plain Beef W/Swiss Added, Lg. Curly Fries. What we got was Two Wrongly Made Sandwiches, Both Had BBQ Sauce on Them! Our "Curly Fries", were just Pieces, Not Whole Curly Fries, but Kept them. We parked in the Front of Arby's to Eat when we Realized that Both of Our Sandwiches weren't Right. Were Both Disabled but I got out & "Tried" to go in but the Door was Locked, So I tried to get Someone's Attention by Knocking on the Front Door, Side Glass, No One Noticed Me. So Now there were at least #3 Cars in the Drive Thru and We HAD to Wait Behind them to Tell the Young Woman taking Orders that Our Food Was Wrong & Now Ice Cold! We expected She Would Apologize & Ask us to Pull forward to get Our Food Made the Way We Asked for & PAID For! NO, She Wanted Us to PAY AGAIN FOR THE WRONG FOOD! We "Again" Explained Our Food Was Wrong! She had Us pull forward to the P/U Window, We Now Assumed Our Food Would be Hot, Made Right & Waiting! Not Even Close, AGAIN We were Asked to Pay For Our Food by A Young Man Working there! We AGAIN, Politely, Told Him about Our Food! He was VERY Nice, asked for Our Receipt to Show His Mgr. since "He" Can't Replace Our Bad Food Without Mgr. Approval. We gave Him the Receipt and Watched Him Show the "MGR." SHE THEN YELLED AT US, "We Were Not" Getting ANY FREE Food!? We AGAIN Told Her What Happened & SHE Then "SCREAMED" & ALL THE WORKERS COULD HEAR, WE WEREN'T GETTING ANYTHING WITHOUT A RECEIPT! The Young Man, Reminded "HER," He Already Got The Receipt & She Had It In Her Hands! After ALL This (She Was STILL VERY RUDE!) WE FINALLY GOT OUR FOOD We Already Paid For! I Couldn't Eat Mine, Now Ice Cold Sandwich & Just went Home On an EMPTY STOMACH & Threw It Out! This Arby's was Off Fort Apache & In My Opinion THAT MGR. SHOULD BE FIRED! WE NEVER GOT OUR RECEIPT, SO I WAS UNABLE TO LEAVE THIS REVIEW ON THEIR SITE OR "EVEN" Get The "Free Sandwich," I Should've Got From Their Review Site! I Would NEVER GO TO THIS ARBY'S but May...
Read moreArby's Corporate Team should be embarrassed about the management and behavior of employees at this location. They left out a $10 sandwich from our order, so we called to let them know. That's a lot of money and a very hungry person. The only solution they gave us is to come all the way back to the store for a refund. Super inconvenient. Then they told us we would have to call corporate for a refund, but refused to give the manager's name or store number. Then they had the audacity to hang up the phone. When called back, they lied and said there was no manager present. When pressed, the employee said she couldn't give the name of the manager. Then she hung up. They ignored the next 4 phone calls, and when they finally answered, we said that we were going to come to the store for the refund, and the employee/unnamed manager said that she felt she was being threatened if we came to the store. However, dear reader, you'll recall that was the only solution they gave originally. I do love a good beef n cheddar, but I don't appreciate losing money, disrespect, lies, and...
