Charleys Cheesesteaks & Wings — Restaurant in Spring Valley

I placed a pick up order online through their website. I did not use doordash or any other third party. I paid for the order and received my confirmation email with all the order information and payment confirmation and my confirmation number. When I arrived, they told me they did not have the order. I verified the address, showed them my confirmation email on my phone and still, they refused to help. One young lady asked me to wait perhaps the order was slow to post. Time went on and I finally had to flag someone down. I can only guess the person who came up to the counter was the manager as she was the one cooking and giving instruction to the others. She told me rudely and in a very unprofessional tone that she would not make the order if it was not on her board. I offered to show her the email, and she seemed disinterested. So I replied, if I am not leaving with my food order, than I need a refund. She told me to go to the website and cancel it. When I asked for help with that she refused and walk away. A new store has recently opened at the corner of S Decatur Blvd./ W Russel Rd. The store is brand new, very nice and clean. It is a fast food counter service store that has a small dining area with few tables and a drive thru ( for those on the go ,more convenient option).

The staff is very friendly and very quick too, we didn’t wait too long for our food to come out.

They have THE BEST cheesesteak in town. Their cheesesteaks are always fresh and delicious, very flavorful and they use high quality ingredients. You can definitely taste the difference. We have ordered: a chicken cheesesteak combo, boneless wings and bacon chipotle cheesesteak. Whatever you order on the menu, you cannot go wrong. All of their cheesesteaks are juicy and flavorful !

As a unique combination you can experience Sbarro ( next door inside the Conoco gas station ) which is also brand new store recently opened. We have tried their pizza, bread sticks and Stromboli’s . It was delicious and tasted fresh, because they hand made their dough fresh every day .

It's like the workers are being told to skimp on food. There's potential here to be a good place but the portions don't match the price. The product, ie the bread and fry tray LOOK like they should be more but the amount doesn't fit the container. I got the original cheese steak and it had like 2 pieces of green pepper that was al dente and I didn't even see any onions. This is not a dish where these ingredients should be crisp. Plus the amount of steak was very light. The fries were also barely topped off the small container. I went through the drive thru and the girl was nice when taking my money but she gave my food and ran like she didn't want me to say anything after seeing the order. I had to wait and ask for ketchup that I could see her first only want to give me 2 packets and then change her mind and give me 3. That tells me they are being told to skimp as much...
