Aye, this place hit for real, for real, was driving by and saw the signs and my girl said that looks good. They have signs on the road displaying there food. I thought well lets try it out because it did look good.
Parking wasn't too difficult, a couple of cars and a family sitting down outside dinning out. Immediately went to Google to see what the food looked like from the pictures. The first picture I saw were of these 4 biria tacos with juice sauce to side look extra delicious. I said to my self that's what I want. "Baby .. baby ? You ready to go inside?" Her "yeah let's go."
Inside the atmosphere was that of small a bit crapped, but welcoming none the less. I felt like I had walked into some ones Mexican Tia house, this was foreshadowing to what would be my meal. I just didn't know it yet.
Finally to order, my girl ordered the biria quesadia and some deconstruction of meat, beans and rice with wraps on the side. Now for me " you sir?" Said my new found spanish aunty. I put my phone up and pointed to the picture "give me this" her "4 sir" me "yes". 47 dollars and some change was the total. I wasn't to happy about the cost but hey I did order 3 plates of food.
We sat down and the wait wasn't to long. Did I mention I ordered this to go? Well when the food came we had about a 5 to 6 minute drive to our hotel of the strip. And finally to room, where we could dine.
Smell: at first wiff I didn't get any inherent smells emanating from the bag. This was a bit deserning because I like to smell my food to get an idea of what I'm getting my self into.not until I opened the bag did smells of Mexican delight grace my noise and it was Givin. Like really giving giving. Not to strong but fresh and fragrant of slow cooked meats. Overall 7/10
Taste: taste was out of the world, a true Spanish, Mexican delight. Flavors were there me being African american felt a missing of salt but that was not slight in anyway to overall taste. This was an enjoyable experience. Sauce was drenched in goodness. This was worth while and I for one was here for it. The meat was tender, and prepared well. This felt like I had gone over one of my Mexican friends home and they offered me food. And they served me like I was Familia/family. Overall...
Read moreProviding this place with a one star review as it's the minimum that I'm able to give. First of all we went in for the all you can eat tacos, as a family this totaled over $50, however all of us werent able to finish our food and it was requested that we throw it away some of the children in our party were even approached and asked to hand over their plates and they were thrown away as well... Things definitely took a turn when my sister decided to complain via Facebook, one of the employees at this "family owned business" states that my name is the most african name he's ever heard of, mind you what does names and heritage have to do with this unless you're a racist. Feel free to respond to this review I have the screen shot and will be more than happy to provide it. If there is a rule that special orders can not be taken out of the establishment that should be clearly stated as "no to go orders" means you are not able to order to go and children should never be approached especially when their is an adult present this is unacceptable...however definitely not surprised about the treatment after learning that they're racist. Also please be aware that most of their 5 star reviews arent customers at all but friends,...
Read moreU don’t know were to start i been to this restaurant a couple of time and the food was delicious what happened to eat I don’t know, I’ll tell you this much restaurant never lose on beans, rice and chips. From the stale chips that tasted a million years old to the nasty salsa that seemed was put together in a rush and with out any effort, to the rise the was probably a couple days old not hours days, to the rotten tomatoes put in what they think is a salad but is lettuce to the birria consomé that tasted like feet not to say they added the onions, like if they were eating it before serving it to me and my son so disappointed, the only thing that was some what decent was the chile relleno that my husband ate but everything else even the beans where disgusting. I’m a hard working Latina and there is nothing more upsetting that wasting your hard earned money on food that it’s of this quality, restaurant owners and their employees don’t understand that is a luxury to eat out and if we picked and craved their food and are willing to pay for it we also deserve some respect, shame...
