Ordered a weapon from them and am a local. They send them to Ventura Munitions for pickup(was initially told they had it in stock there at their own store when I called to check. When I arrived, they did not.) Then my background check got denied because of an inaccuracy on it which Ventura gave me the info to get it corrected. While I was doing that, ABC refunded a PORTION of what I paid and canceled it WITHOUT EVEN TELLING ME. No phone call. No email. Nothing. Now I have to dispute through my credit card. Never received any product and never authorized return or cancel of my purchase. They are trying to charge me $195 for nothing and without ever telling me anything....
UPDATE: Nowhere on the receipt did it say that you would automatically return it without my authorization and you failed to communicate to me that you were going to return it without my consent. And the receipt stated restocking fee if I RETURNED it. How can I RETURN something I never received??? If you refund me fully as you should, then I'll remove the review. Otherwise, the facts will stay here and I'll have it refunded by my credit card company. The inaccurate info on my background check has been resolved and removed. I was still going to pick it up. You never said there was a time frame for me to pick it up and Ventura told me how to get it corrected which I did as they instructed me to do so so that I could still pick it up. I was still going to pick it up. You can't cancel it and charge me $195 while your pickup location tells me to correct the information and I can still pick it up. No reason you can't at least give me a call before canceling. You should at least tell Ventura that it will be automatically canceled as they told me I could fix it and still pick it up. Scamming me out of $195 without even a phone call? That's absurd.
YOU failed to communicate with YOUR pickup location. I told them I was going to still pick it up. The lack of communication is 100% on your end.
FYI: I called before I went and they had it in stock that day they said. Magically it wasn't when I got there less than 10 minutes...
Read moreFinally got around to this review. First, let me say that the guys at ABC rifle are great. I contacted them with several questions about building me a custom LR308. They were extremely helpful in answering my questions in a knowledgeable manner, and added on all of requested upgrades to the gun I ultimately ordered. Build time was very reasonable.
Second, the gun: its excellent. I have had it at my local range several times. No malfunctions. At 100 yards, it is easily capable of sub 1 moa groupings. I put a Vortex Viper PST 5x-25x optic and a Magpul bipod on it.
Upper/lower receiver fitment is excellent. No complaints on the finish. All the components are tightened to spec. What should be staked, is. I didnt find anything loose or improperly installed. The trigger is their in house drop in precision model, and it breaks just as clean and crisp as a Geissle. I love the Luth MBA-1 stock. It is a decent made unit for someone wanting a marksman style buttstock but dont want to spend another $150-$200 for a Magpul PRS. Frankly, the degree of accuracy and attention to detail in the build, i would expect to see on a much pricier weapon. For anyone wanting a quality rifle without spending $2000, these guys make nice guns!
Looking forward to getting this gun out to a long range facility to really work it.
Thanks ABC, for your attention to detail, and for supporting LEO's. I will be calling for a carbine build...
Read moreWhen it comes down to ANY firearm, rather pistol or rifle, at least 1000 rounds should be put through the firearm before you give a 5 star rating. I purchased a 7.5" AR pistol from "pawn depot" gretna Louisiana. The website says these ARs come with flip up sights, so I'm pretty sure the pawnshop is taking the sights off before they place them on display. But back to ABC Rifle company. I put about 100 rounds through the AR with no problems, then about the 2nd or 3rd time, I went to shoot it, I started getting short stroking problems, every single shot. Called ABC rifle company, and someone answered and hung up without saying a word. I found out my bolt carrier key had loosened, with only 100-150 rounds. So I wasn't getting enough gas to cycle the BCG, causing short stroking, took Allen key and a tiny amount of blue loctite, fixed that problem, next my castle nut on my buffer tube started backing out on me, . . ABC RIFLE COMPANY doesn't stake their castle nuts or their bolt carrier group keys properly at all. Plus bad customer, I paid 999.99$ for this entry level pistol only because it was a pandemic,. Now I'm having jamming issues every 10 or so rounds, and I'll find out what's causing this later.the trigger is great for an entry level AR pistol, accuracy is acceptable, love the 1:7" twist rate.but just be patient and get an m&p 15 sport 2 or m&p 556 pistol. I...
