Jean-Marie Auboine Chocolatier — Restaurant in Spring Valley

A phenomenal experience! From the moment you enter the store, you feel welcome. We were greeted by Shanelle who immediately greeted us with a warm smile and thanked us for stopping in. She took us on an adventure showing us all the offerings, explaining their process, offering us samples of the products and encouraging us to try new items. We are dark chocolate fans but Shanelle had us sample the milk and white as well explaining the high quality ingredients often create new fans of dark devotees. She was not wrong! The flavors of all the chocolates were unique, the texture was perfect and the packaging was exquisite. Some nice fresh macarons had come out and we were able to sample those as well. Shanelle explained they flavor the outer shell as well as the filling for a completely dynamic taste. We purchased a nice variety of goodies and are looking forward to getting the 100 pc Black box collection for Christmas. Everything we tasted was outstanding and it really was a complete chocolate experience. We found this chocolatier by searching best chocolate shops in Vegas and it came up as number one. This is completely true! They ship too so while I would say visiting the store if you're in town is an absolute must, you can get your fix of high quality chocolate once you get back home too. Amazing chocolates but terrible service. After spending several hundred dollars and telling everyone to go there, I won't be back.

First, they completely screwed up an order and gave us $60 of the conplcocly wrong chocolates. We have them a written list of what we wanted and certifie and they still got it wrong.

Even worse, after stopping by today during their posted business hours, we were told their sales person wasn't there and wouldn't be back for half an hour so we couldn't get anything. We then called their sales number to ask for an exact time they'd be back open and they answered and then hung up on us. After calling back, thinking maybe it was just a bad connection, they stopped answering.

Tremendously disappointing experience after spending at least $100 every time I've been there. Won't be going back and will be sending everyone to Erhel M from here on out.

Edit: one of their VPs reached out to us and setup a time to call and discuss what happened. Then she proceeded to not follow through and never called. Looks like it...

WOW!!! Where to start...Hosting a party for 15 and needed the very best chocolate to pair with the very best wine. After stopping in at 6 different chocolatiers, patisseries and bakeries around town, I was left feeling disappointed in my options. I found my to way Jean-Marie Auboine Chocolatier. I called ahead and talked with the sweetest person on the phone and she described everything they had to offer. Feeling encouraged my wife and I made our way over. When I arrived I was completely blown away by the quality of the products and the absolutely amazing people that helped us. We tried a few samples (SUCCESS) and ended up with some spheres, squares and truffles and some other items for personal consumption. Can not wait to serve these to our guests! I have spent 25 years in the F&B event business and have never been more impressed with a business.
