OMG!!! My friend and I are proud owners of a pizzeria in Illinois and are in town for the International Pizza Expo. We wanted to dine at one of the top rated pizzerias in Las Vegas and Manizza's Pizza is well established in the national pizza community as being one of the very best. I was expecting a lot and received SO much more!!! This is one of the finest pizzerias I have ever eaten at, ever!!! The staff was warm, friendly and engaging and the General Manager, Justin, was absolutely fantastic. We felt welcomed, relaxed and had so much fun. The star of the show was the amazingly delicious food. Everything was so fresh and chocked full of flavor. We started with the garlic knots and their incredible tomato sauce. WOW, they were a flavor explosion and so yummy. We then ordered a large pizza and split it into halves. On one side was the Stella (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, red onions and tri-colored bell peppers) and the other was the Pesto (Fresh pesto, garlic smear dollops, with roma tomatoes, and fresh basil). The pizza came out to us perfectly baked and with the aroma that reminded me of being back in Italy. The outside of the crust was wonderfully crispy and the inside was so soft it melted in my mouth. The sauce, cheese, pepperoni, sausage and fresh ingredients were perfectly prepared and in balance creating an intensely pleasurable dining experience. The pesto was so tasty that I could not stop thinking about how fresh the basil tasted and how enjoyable the whole experience was. For dessert we loved the cinnamon bites which were buonissimo. What an experience! Now Manizza's Pizza is what going out to eat is all about!!! I think you are all very lucky to have such an outstanding and authentic Italian pizzeria in your area. I can't wait until we return to Las Vegas so that we can dine there again. Well done Manizza's Pizza...
Read moreSince moving to Las Vegas about a year and half ago, my family and I have been on the search for high quality, reasonably priced pizza and had found options in the SW to be disappointing overall. We kept trying new places in our search and finally landed on giving Manizza's a try.
We met some family who was traveling through at the restaurant and dined in. Atmosphere was good for families. It's not a big space, but adequate enough for the six of us to just walk in. There is even books and coloring/games for children. Service was friendly, helpful, attentive, and overall excellent. While we were waiting on a few pizzas for our party, we were given delicious cinnamon bites with icing to share. They were wonderful!
The pizza was a homerun! Crust was perfectly crisp on the bottom how I like it, with some chew on the end. The pies were topped with high quality ingredients. Salads were fresh and crisp. Everyone in our party was impressed with their meal.
We have finally found our go to pizza spot, and blessed that its a simple 5ish minute drive up the road. We've been back several times since our initial visit, trying a variety of their specialty pizzas and walked away happy every time! Nothing has changed my opinion that Manizza's is the best pizza spot in SW LV(I won't say all of LV, because we still have so much to explore) hands down - and its only reinforced every time we visit, like last night - which has finally led me to leave this review. Every time we get food from Manizza's, the service and food makes us happy customers. We're so happy to have discovered this wonderful pizza parlor, and we're thankful its...
Read moreLast week, a friend ordered a carry out special (2 pizzas, 2 toppings each, and 2 drinks for just under $25) from this restaurant and had me pick it up for us to enjoy. Though I had passed by this place many times and noticed the banner glorifying the place as 37th best pizzeria in north America per Yelp, I live on the opposite end of town and never stopped. We had a Pepperoni sausage, and canadian bacon with pineapple ( yes it does indeed go on pizza, haters gonna hate tho). The toppings were plentiful and the flavor of the dough and sauce were fabulous. You could tell this was quality pizza.
So I decided to go out of the way to pick up another 2 pizzas today after work. Didnt think to inspect them before leaving because the last order was great. However, I grabbed a slice while driving and noticed there were barely any toppings on the Canadian bacon and mushroom pizza, very few mushroom slices at all. Upon arriving home, I discover that the second pizza, pepperoni and sausage, is also nearly barren, six slices of sausage total on a large pizza, 9 slices of pepperoni. Looking at the pictures of pizza on their website , the photographic worthy pies are loaded with toppings…
There seems to be an unfortunate lack of consistency. They provided a free order of cinnamon bites that I didn't ask for, which was a nice gesture, however, I would have rather had sufficient toppings on the pies I ordered. Thats why you order pizzas with toppings isn't it?
Flavor of dough and sauce, as well as quality of the cheese are evident. However, Id rather order from my usual spot, which is closer to home, because they never skimp on...
