Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Spring Valley

Stopped into the new Habit Burger off S. Durango and W. Sunset at The Bend, and right away I noticed how clean the place was...not a crumb or any food or napkins on the floor or under the tables. That alone set the tone. Ordering was super easy. You’ve got the option to use the kiosks or go up to the counter and order from a real person, which I appreciate.

The food? Fresh, cooked to order. You can tell they’re not just grabbing patties from under a heat lamp. The sesame seed buns were grilled just right. Crispy on the edges, soft inside, made the whole burger taste better. Sweet Potato Fries and Onion Rings were hot, not soggy.

What really stood out was the owner, Oscar. He was walking around checking on every table, making sure folks were happy with their meal. I saw him clearing tables himself. This is not something you see from an owner at a fast-food spot. That kind of pride in the business shows.

Staff behind the counter was friendly across the board. Easy parking, including handicap spots, and there’s a drive-thru if you’re in a hurry. Whole setup is convenient and very well-run.

Visited this Habit Burger & Grill last weekend. First time back to Habit since leaving CA three years ago. Used to love their food.

This location earned a "A" rating from their health inspection. And I agree. The restaurant was new, fresh and clean.

I ordered the fried green beans, and as usual they were very good. Sadly, the same can't be said for the rest of the meal. The Teriyaki Char with Cheese I ordered had a bun that must have come straight from the refrigerator. It was colder than room temperature. The contents of the burger were fresh but all you could taste was the pineapple and teriyaki. The skinny meat paddy was flavorless. I also got a Dr Pepper. I ended up dumping most of it out because it tasted like mostly soda water.

My wife ordered their specially advertised Basil Chicken Sandwich. She said the chicken was okay but under seasoned and there was so little basil she could barely tell that it was present.

I haven't visited any other Habit Burger & Grill locations here in Vegas but based on this one I probably won't. Better burgers and beverages are...

Honestly I feel like all the people who work here are just on it. I’ve eaten here like, three times the past two weeks and everyone’s just in there grinding and communicating well. I went through the drive thru and asked for three sides of ranch, a side of mayo, a side of hot sauce and a side of jalepenos and that’s exactly what I got. Everyone just works hard and it shows. Everyone has a good attitude and it makes me want to keep coming back lol because we used to go to chipotle (right next door) like, once a week and they suck.
