Pho 79 DC - Las Vegas — Restaurant in Spring Valley

Hello! I have been eating pho since I was a kid and continued to rate pho restaurants throughout Vegas. For Pho 79 DC, a soild 8.7/10. Out of all the other pho restaurants i have tried, this is one out of 3 other restaurants that has scored higher then a 7/10. Reasons behind this rating is because of the soup base. It's very light but still have aromatics with every sip. Literally taste like my mother's recipe. The noodles as soft but firm with no scent when you eat the noodles. Biggest issue i have found in other restaurants where they dont properly clean and prepare the noodles. The meat selection is amazing too. Each meat that soaks in the broth does not overpower the entire bowl if noodles, giving it a perfect balance of taste. They would have a higher score if the broth was a bit heavier on the aromatics, but that is just my opinion. Now why I gave five stars was because of the amazing service! I usually like to be left alone when I'm judging pho, but the workers here are very attentive. Asking if I would need anything else and even gave me an egg roll to try. They tried to offer me a soda as well but, I couldn't accept this amazing generosity. The restaurant is still brand new so I recommend to try this place out if you want some food that reminds you of home and hurry too before everyone knows and the place gets packed! IN CONCLUSION, this restaurant has my highest regards for their pho. I would recommend this place to everyone i know. I understand that customer service is a priority for some people, but with food like this, I dont care if this place spit on my face. This food speaks for itself. I would encourage everyone out there to try and serve me a better pho then them cause they have the #2 spot in my book.

P.S. I just got the salted coffee from here. Only thing I have to say is OMFG. This puts a tear...

Pho 79 DC in Las Vegas is a gem that feels truly family-owned, with warm, professional, and attentive service.

I ordered pho with steak and tendon (plus extra steak), and it was outstanding—the broth was clear, fragrant, and full of flavor. My wife ordered a rice dish that usually comes with pork chop, but since I preferred grilled meat instead, they gladly accommodated the change. To my surprise, it was the first time I’ve ever seen her finish the whole dish!

We came as a party of 10, and the staff handled it with ease—constantly checking in to make sure everything was perfect. Even my friend Pigsly and his baby dragon, who usually prefer higher-end restaurants, were doubting the rice dish at first. But they both ended up inhaling it and even ordered seconds. Hard to say if it was hunger or just that the food was that good—but judging by the smiles, I’d say it was the food!

Excellent food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend Pho 79 DC if you want authentic pho and Vietnamese...

Exceptional from A to Z!

I just had an amazing dining experience with this BUN BO HUE. The presentation was beautiful, and the broth was rich, fragrant with lemongrass, and had just the right level of spice—true to its HUE origins. The beef was tender, the tendon had a nice chew, the pork roll was flavorful, and the blood pudding was rich and smooth—all blending together to create an unforgettable taste.

Not only was the food delicious, but the service was also outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick, making me feel very comfortable. The fresh herbs, lime, chili, and dipping sauce were all perfectly prepared.
