Mood- IYKYK
Most people know by now I have eaten at basically every Ramen house in the valley. So I can say that I know how it is supposed to taste. The noodles, the broth, the add ons ect....I mean I'm a foodie having access to one of the United States Meccas for Ramen Connoisseurs alike. And here in the valley if you are lucky enough you will get to meet either the owner or the chef to truly understand the concept of Tonkatsu, Shoyu, Miso, and Tsukemen.
Upon entering on both occasions have been quickly greeted and ushered over to a table. Now my last experience I decided to do a last minute impromptu birthday celebration and we were accommodated with the request. Menus were given and drink order was taken.
Opted for the Classic Tonkatsu, Pork Belly Buns, Chicken Karaage, Edamame, California Roll, Broccolini, Churro & Ice Cream, Spicy Tonkatsu, And gyoza. Now can I say both experiences were identical.... Yes 100%. Completely on point and the Food never once deviated from flavor. My family was talking about this experience all night.
Interior is a great size. It can accommodate small to intimate parties to larger occasions such as what I devised. Music was playing in the background. The Cleanliness was immaculate. The staff is by far one of the best here in the valley. The customer service was so courteous and hospitable. My table was continually taken care of both times.
Would most def recommend- pricing for the portions and the new economy of inflation was actually really good. The combo is a great value. However I don't usually tell myself no I can't have something when I'm out, so I went off the course and ordered a little of this and little of that both times.
Location is Spring Mtn/Arville- now the parking gets congested, as more restaurants are opening...
Read moreThis is the second time I came to this location and ordered the Truffle oil Ramen on both times, the first one the Pork was over cooked and hard but it had 2 pieces of pork, the second time I ask the server not to overcook the pork and the brought it the same way but only one piece of pork and when I ask the waiter he said the were going to have to charge me for the second piece so they did, the flavor was ok but not great but I think they’re over price for the portions they serve, definitely there are other places with great taste and better value. Won’t come back a third time!
I went back again on 3/11/25 and the food was better than last time but unfortunately it was just warm and not hot enough but it definitely had better flavor this time. I did order extra pork belly since it still comes with only one piece compared to other places, the service was just ok, I really wanted to be better but maybe is just me lol, however I’m giving my honest opinion based on only my personal experience without having to talk to the manager nor owner for a special treatments nor discounts so all us that rely on reviews can make good choices and have great experiences...
Read moreIf I could leave 10 stars, I would! I had the spicy tuna bowl and it had such great equal portions. I've had some places give you a huge portion of rice hiding underneath the toppings but this had plenty of greens equal to the rice! Such great balance of flavors with everything blending together!
My husband and son got the shoyu ramen which they both loved (rare for my picky eater son). The combo with one ramen and one appetizer is a great deal. The creamy broccolini was charred and sauced just right. Still crisp yet tender.
The karage portions are generous and cripsy. The pork bun had the softness bao I've had in a great while. They used a hoisin mayo with the onions and pork belly was such a treat.
The server we had named Giovani was attentative, and so helpful. Walked us through portion sizes and recommendations while we decided.
We look forward to our next visit and hope that whoever reads this decides to try them out! Thank...
