I always miss it when they restock the BT21 merchandise! I'm almost ready to bribe an employee to let me know when it happens again... they need a Vegas-centered mailing list where you can choose what you want to get the heads-up on!
Still, I got a cute makeup bag (which I desperately needed) and a Cooky squeeze toy from the mystery egg. Saw one of those eyeliners with a heart stamp & got it on impulse. The ink lasts through several handwashings, so it might be waterproof - good to know ahead of seeing Yoongi in LA in May! Plus, some of the nail strips with my cobias' character. (Forgot to take a picture with the egg/Cooky; they live on my desk at work now.)
The clerk was super nice & we squeed over being Army. (I had on a BT21 button-up shirt, a Chimmy mask, Jimin Tiny Tan barrettes, and Jimin artist-made earrings & was carrying my Suga Tiny Tan cross-body bag - idk what gave her the impression I was Army! đ)
Went back the next day (was in the area for National Corndog Day) to see if any bags were left after I realized 1 wasn't big enough for all my makeup (perfect for travel tho!). Luckily, there was ONE LEFT! Got another mystery* package (square this time, didn't see them last time) and a delicious watermelon aloe drink I'm now addicted to, plus a marker freebie!
Lots of other licensed merch from Disney (from a ton of different lines), We Bare Bears, Line Friends, etc. Plus the baby BT21 face masks & Chimmy/Mang nail strips. So much other stuff I didn't even recognize to name it! Plus lots of household items like chopsticks, bowls, rugs, towels, toothbrushes, etc. (Like you'd see at Daiso.)
If you are in the Shanghai Plaza or are in Chinatown, it's worth the drop-in, even just to look. (And if you see a massive display of new BT21 or Tiny Tan Merch, drop me a comment, please!)
*I allow myself to open one new item a week (that isn't put to immediate use, like the bag or makeup), so I haven't opened the green one yet; when I do,...
Read moreI am writing to share my recent experience at your Las Vegas store, which was my first visit. Upon checkout, the cashier introduced me to a loyalty program offering a $1 discount on my purchase for signing up, which I accepted. This gesture initially enhanced my shopping experience by showcasing an immediate benefit of the loyalty program. However, moments later, when I sought to exchange an item before leaving the store, I was informed by the manager that the exchange was not permissible due to the application of the discount from the loyalty points I had just earned. This refusal, especially given its direct connection to a program I joined upon staff recommendation, was both surprising and disappointing. The manager's manner during this interaction compounded my dissatisfaction, leaving a lasting negative impression of my visit. The incident prompts me to express concern not only about the specific exchange policy related to loyalty points but also about the broader implications of customer service practices. It is essential for policies to be clear and for staff to communicate them in a manner that is both informative and respectful, ensuring that customers feel valued, especially new ones. I believe that revisiting both your policy communication and staff training could significantly enhance the customer experience, fostering a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to any steps you may take to address...
Read moreThis Japanese store has a ton of random fun things to buy. Random like a leveled up dollar store but these items are much better quality top to bottom in form and function.
Cell phone accessories, battery packs, kitchen items, travel accessories, toys, snacks, candy, cosmetics, lotions, pens, stationary, car accessories, air freshener, bathroom items, etc.
This is a Japanese discount store so the pricing is pretty cheap and you get pretty good value for the quality of the products. A majority of the items are $10 or less and it's really easy to start buying random things you had no intention of purchasing as you came to browse around.
The store layout is extremely organized which makes it visually appealing and puts you in the mood to explore and purchase. The packaging of the items is it's major strength and the Japanese influence makes it even more fun.
I've visited Miniso stores in Japan and in Northern California and I'm pleased to say that this Las Vegas location is definitely up to par. This is definitely a must visit if you're in the area and makes a nice after dinner/meal/boba stop if you're hanging out in the popular Chinatown Plaza...
