Dear Franchise Owner, please fix the following problems your store has had: No Manager on duty, leaves even one worker to do the entire job! 1) Closing early: Two young workers (guy and girl) there laughed at husband, me and my kids outside window when hours posted clearly stated they should be open. The girl, who was doing all the cleaning/work tried to get the keys from the guy to unlock and reopen to serve us, meanwhile the guy continued laughing and went in back and stayed there, never letting the girl come back out to serve us or finish cleaning. 2) The store didn't make a birthday cake we prepaid and pre-ordered in person. No one called us. No notification. When we went to pick up the cake, the worker told us that this location doesn't have a regular cake maker, and the cake maker didn't come in to make our cake the day before. They could have told us the day before that our cake wasn't being made. The associate called mgr on the phone. I asked to speak with mgr, and worker didn't let me. The worker said the manager told her to offer us one of the generic cakes. We paid for a special order cake and were charged extra for the upgrades that they don't have in the generic cake. We couldn't take the generic. I asked for my refund, then worker proceeded to give me less than what I paid for. I showed my receipt. They showed me the price on the cake order, which was less than what I paid for. I asked if I'm supposed to be given a copy of the cake order with that price and they said no. They saw what I was charged on my receipt was more. 3) The store leaves workers alone to manage the store by themselves, and doesn't make sure they all are fully trained. They aren't knowledgeable about the product, management, or customer service. 4) The store frequently can be very busy with only one person working and running around. Bathroom can be in need of service or out of supplies. Service area can be out of napkins or have dirty tables. Store has been out of stock of supplies to serve in. Store advertises/promotes goods that aren't in the computer system any longer. Workers have to run from cleaning bathroom, restocking bathroom to serving customers. Not fair to the worker. Not good for the customer. Please don't support this location until it fixes it's issues. There are other locations that serve ice cream, cakes, shakes, freezes, and frozen treats. Try Kioskos (homemade ice cream and frozen ices, shakes); Chill The Milkshake Bar or Dairy Queen or Buzzles on Louetta East; Bruster's or Yogurtland or Menchies on Louetta West; Bahama Buck's or Marble Slab up the freeway; or even a different Baskin-Robbins like the one on 1960 or the other on 2920; and finally you can support other fast food locations that use real ice cream in their shakes like Jack in the Box that's...
Read moreI frequent this place with my boyfriend and always get one scoop of ice cream— that’s all. Today we came in at 1 pm (2 hrs after open) for our fix. It was a little busy, about 3-4 people in line. Manager Shirley was serviceable but not friendly, and was overtly very upset with a girl who was in training. The young lady was asking for direction on making a milkshake, and Ms Shirley was practically yelling back instruction, shaking her head in annoyance, rolling her eyes, and just generally acting how a service-class manager shouldnt. I am a manager in a restaurant as well. I would never speak to my NEW employee who’s asking legitimate questions like that, especially in front of guests. I felt second hand embarrassment for the employee just trying to do her job, and personally if I was that employee I would quit. This is my first time meeting manager Shirley and I hope it’s my last. With that being said, the seasonal flavor Beach Day is our new favorite and we...
Read moreMost people still have the mask signs up because of the CDC but not because of proclaimed “safety for the customer’s sake”, and they are a little more friendly. Please I’m asking you not to play with your customers or make them feel insecure if they don’t wear a mask since the mandate is off and the case numbers went down. If for those who have gotten a vaccine did indeed get the vaccine, why are people still enforcing them to wear a mask; unless the vaccines don’t work. I wouldn’t rate this store so low If you would had only asked your customers to put on a face mask rather than make them feel insecure for not wearing one as though they should wear them everywhere, even when other places know the masks are for the onset of totalitarian govt’ control. They are testing the waves to see how much they can get away with and what people will put up with. This store is treating their customers harshly for the sake of standing on the...
