Ordered on the app to minimize inaccuracies and Pulled up to speaker after estimated “ready” time and let them know I placed an online order, I was asked to pull up to window where I Waited approximately 10 min before being handed 2 bags. I was given an awkward stare from associate in drive thru window. I asked her if it was all there? The associate stated yes. I handed bags to my passenger and asked if the lady in the window was still awkwardly staring at me, they said yes. I pulled around front since my order consisted of multiple items and some modifications I realized that the 2 additional order of fries I requested were missing. I grabbed the 2 bags and walked into the front door and had a different associate look over my receipt and the 2 bags they just handed me in the drive thru and she immediately started on my 2 orders of fries that I was missing. From the drive thru window I heard “the older Caucasian woman”(as she is described in other negative reviews), yelling to the other employees why is he in here, we made all the modifications he requested then began to loudly call out all the changes I made to accommodate a special order I created. After taking offense to her mocking my special order i loudly replied, it’s not the burger I have a problem with, it’s the 2 orders of fries you failed to include in my order. The other associate handed me my missing items and I walked out. The older white haired woman in the drive thru window has a terrible attitude toward your customer base and I seriously doubt that jack in the box wants to be represented by her and her disgusting demeanor. This is bad for business and unacceptable for...
Read moreOne of the cleaner Jack in the Box franchise visited in Houston. To that end, I became aware of the status because my drive thru experience became a horrid encounter with a defensive & arrogant employee, later boasting to be the manager. My fries were luke warm and soggy, I requested a fresh batch. The drive thru employee called for Ms. U (the mgr) who immediately began to banter & lightly insult my ability to know the difference then invited me into her kitchen for myself. She then asked WHAT DO YOU WANT, I in turned asked for fresh fries for both of the combos. She rudely instructed me to PARK IN FRONT & WAIT. After waiting & upon second thought, I decided to not trust the next batch and proceeded to park so that I may twist a full refund. The manager approached my car then holds the bag up to my window (I assumed that meant my here are your fries). I begin to point out the difference in appearance of the new FRESH fries and the bag that I was previously given. She raised her voice in defense to which I requested a refund. As I entered into the store, she began to making sly remarks so I commenced to recording for my protection. Another employee noticed me camera then advised the staff. The manager emerged more irritated and state that she's going to take photos my license plates & take photos of me (which she did). All the while, I was locked in their store with no defense or witnesses. Once she realized that I was recording, she toned down then told me to have a nice day. All of THIS for extra greasy fries? Never have I experienced this type of aggressive behavior from...
Read moreGRRRRRRRRRRRR! I went specifically to try to use an online "app only" coupon for a burger. It was one that required another item to be purchased as well. I fought with the app for 40 minutes, trying exiting, attempting again, etc. I finally went inside to ask how to resolve the issue and order, and she (nicely) said "Oh yeah, a lot of people have been having trouble with the app". I said how do I order? Can I just pay you and use the coupon? "No, for that special, you have to use the app." Me: But the app is not allowing me to order. She said "Sorry, it has to be through the app." Me: Do you have a customer service number that I can call to complain? "No ma'am". Tried looking it up. NOPE! NO WAY TO TALK TO A LIVE HUMAN BEING at Jack in the Box! So, I ordered something else that I didn't really want, since I was there. EXTREMELY unhappy about that transaction! I've long been a JITB supporter. I use the cheap eats often now because I have cancer and I am broke. Getting cheap meals and using coupons/deals/loyalty points is VERY important to me now. I've been paying full price for 53 years, now I have to be cost-conscious. You guys do make good food, and the local staff is great. But fix your buggy app! Anyone can have a great discount and sale, if customers can't buy the product! It looks good for advertising, right?...
