I put 2 stars not because of the food, the food was great but not the service. I ordered cava all the time, but this is my first time in this location. I will never be back at this location. I placed my order of food around 815-Ish it notified me that it’ll be ready by 8:30 and when I arrived at 9:05. I’m still waiting for my food that was not prepared and when I finally got the food it was missing an item which was a side, so I had to let them know that this specific item was missing that I ordered, and they gave me the wrong side. So After I told him it was the wrong side they underdo it cause I checked the other sides and compared and it was at least half an inch under. I’m guessing because they’re in a rush but still for my order to be something so simple. Simple like two pita bread and four crazy feta sides, it should’ve be done by 8:30 and I’m there at 9:05 and it’s still not done. It’s kind of ridiculous.. The photo I added was the other side that was made compared to the one they finally did.. normally, I wouldn’t get mad about this, but the fact the price is so high kind of makes me mad. I looked at other peoples reviews and I’m not the only one that is mad with a customer service here. Y’all need to do better training people at that location!

(PICTURES INCLUDED ) First off ... I love Cava... im pretty new to Cava and ever since trying it I LOVE them. With that being said.. this afternoon my mother WALKED over to CAVA (its in out neighborhood) and placed her order. When she got to the register she asked if the pita chips were suppose to come with the meal... like I said before we are new to Cava so we didnt know we had to ask for it. The woman at the register was VERY rude in responding to my mom. She turned around and threw something behind her that she picked off the counter. Clearly she had an attitude about something we know nothing of. She walked over and "toasted" a piece of pita for literally a second and handed it to my mom. My mom let her know that the pita wasnt even toasted like how it usually is. She insisted thats how they do their pita chips with an attitude. The cashier walked over to another young lady and she walked over and again "toasted" it for a split second and handed it to my mom. My mom told her that she wasnt trying to be difficult its just that the 2 previous times this isnt how it went. I tried to call and speak to a manger and no one would pick up the phone. This is very disappointing as we really loved the 2 times we tried CAVA but we will not be going back.

We have been to this Cava many times, and the food is always consistently good. We typically opt for the two meat bowl, with the large variety of options to customize our bowl. While the food is good, the service is a bit inconsistent. For example, on a recent visit my wife was the first in line and proceeded to order her two meat bowl as usual. When she got to the checkout, the server charged her for an extra side of meat. When questioned about the extra charge, the server said that we had to let them know we wanted to split the meat selection between two half-portions in advance. Otherwise, they always put two full portions of each meat choice on the bowl. That was the first time we had ever heard such nonsense, but the server was insistent, and the others working the line did not show any concern either. Anyway, on other occasions we’ve had them forget to put the Nan and have to explicitly remind them that Nan comes with our order. We’ll go back here, but wish they would improve their staff training to provide a consistent experience.

The food was awesome but their customer service sucked. I walked in and was not greeted, possibly because I was the only African American in the building at the moment. I only noticed because the white customers whom were leaving out were told to have a great day and come again. I was not told to come again or have a great day as well. That made me feel some type of way. When I walked in 2 guys were finishing up on 1 male customer. You would think someone would have told me, someone will be right with you, but they both continued right on ignoring me. Your only allowed 2 toppings which I found was odd because if I'm paying for it what does it matter? I was handed my food onto the counter like I was a dog waiting on my owner to feed me from a dog bowl and then asked would I like a bag? Why would I not want a bag? I also ordered pita bread that's not wrapped all the way, half of it sticks out of the too small bag, so would I want my pita bread to be exposed to the air and people breathing, that I'm supposed to be eating? I told the guy it was my 1st time there and he did not do a great job of making me feel welcome or explaining things, seems like he didn't want to be bothered. He gave more short brief answers because he was more intuned on focusing on waiting on the white lady who was next in line after me and explaining to her how he was sorry and for her to give him a moment after waiting on me. I was rushed into making my decisions due to this. My overall visit was not that pleasing. I hope the manager reads this and helps his employees work on their people skills and treating each and every customer equal. We're all paying customers no matter what race, color, or creed, sexual orientation etc....this store left me with a bad memory. Possibly I will wait a while before I patronize this particular location again, hoping those 2 guys doesn't work there anymore, and I definitely will not recommend my friends and Co workers to this location. I deserve some sort of apology or explanation for...

Cava came strongly recommended to us by a food friend and it did not disappoint. It was described as a Mediterranean "Chipotle", and I think that's fair. You can build a bowl, which will eat like a hearty salad, or a pita which is a little more like a sandwich/burrito. So, with that in mind, Cava felt like a very familiar experience, even if there were unfamiliar ingredients. There are several "chef curated" choices with set ingredients you can customize, or you can just move down the line and ask for a little of this and a little of that. The pricing structure is based on what you choose for your bowl, but it was a pretty reasonable ticket for two people, around $30. I tried the lemon chicken bowl, and my wife built her own. My food was delicious and I happily finished the whole thing. While my wife enjoyed hers, it proved to be too much food for her. They have an eclectic mix of sodas and juices that are all the same price as a fountain drink. I mixed a little strawberry citrus juice in with some unsweet tea and that was fantastic. I would recommend giving Cava a try and don't be afraid to eat something you haven't tried before. The "Right Rice" looks particularly healthy and I believe you could eat a very diet conscious meal here pretty easily. We came in right at dinner time, during a long rush, and the staff (though a bit harried) were very helpful and friendly for our first experience. Incredibly efficient and we were handed our food at the cash register, so this would be a great spot for a short lunch break or quick dinner. I'm eager to go back and try...

Cava Mediterranean cafe is a wonderful restaurant that serves delicious Mediterranean cuisine in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy your meal.
