Oohhh yes! Finallllly a decent Poke place. If I am not mistaken, this is a franchise business and they for the first visit (close to the grand opening) didn’t disappoint.
I can’t explain how difficult it is to try and find good Poke in North Houston towards the woodlands. Thankful for Pokemoto opening their doors!
As an intentional decision I can about an hour to closing around the holiday season to see if they could deliver good quality and fresh Poke. They had nearly everything out for use to customize our bowls. The main thing we always get and missed this time was the miso soup. Most poke places offer it for free when you buy their poke.
I ordered a large brown rice mixed with greens as my base and then several servings of the tuna and a scoop of their lobster salad which was new to me! Usually it’s the crab salad that you find. So that was a cool surprise.
They were pretty generous with the portions too ! The taste and freshness of the sides that I added was pleasant and not dried out or flavorless.
The one thing I was skeptical about was the salmon protein choice. I didn’t get it mainly because it looked alittle odd? But I can say at the very least the tuna was good.
I recommend trying this place out. I’ve been to only a handful of poke places up north but this is the best so far.
Also at check out they have a QR code discount so don’t miss that!
The atmosphere and service was good too! Very clean and plenty of room to dine in if you so choose! They also offer boba incase you are craving that! I didn’t try it but maybe next...
Read moreI went in after hearing about their poke burritos. We got a Hawaiian poke, poke burrito and a build your own burrito. They all had one thing in common WAY TOO MUCH RICE. I swear my burrito was 90% rice around two pounds and double wrapped with a huge ball of rice at each end to not let the almost nonexistent amount of food out of the wrap. The bowl was almost no veggies the tuna was too small and the salmon looked fake. The salmon being a weird mix of orange and pink was definitely precut and frozen. The salmon definitely tasted undercooked as well. Overall the food was extremely disappointing and there are definitely better options going up to the woodlands and down in houston. Next time I’ll go to the cava next door or a different poke restaurant. The bowls were also packed with rice and almost no veggies or protein. I will say this the young man that was taking our order was extremely respectful and did his job as well...
Read moreWe just had our very first visit to your location, and wow—what an experience! Right from the moment we walked in, Angel greeted us with a warm smile and incredible patience. He answered all my questions (and there were many), never missed a beat, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Honestly, if anyone deserves a raise, it’s him—he’s not just doing his job; he’s redefining customer service!
Now let’s talk poke—yours is next-level. We recently moved from Las Vegas, and I’ve had my fair share of poke bowls. Yours? Hands down the best I’ve tried. Even my daughter, who typically runs in the opposite direction when she hears “poke,” ended up eating half of mine and declared it “delicious.” A miracle!
You’ve definitely gained a loyal new customer—partly because the poke is amazing, and partly because Angel is a total rockstar. We’ll be back (often)!
P.S. Only regret? I didn’t take a photo—I wasn’t expecting to be...
