VN Pho is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of our city. As an aficionado of pho noodle soup, I have frequented many establishments, each claiming to offer the best pho. However, none can hold a candle to the culinary masterpiece that is VN Pho. The broth is a symphony of flavors, rich and aromatic, the noodles perfectly tender, and the ingredients exceptionally fresh. It is evident that a great deal of love and tradition goes into every bowl.
But what truly sets VN Pho apart is its owner, Jimmy. From the moment I walked in, Jimmy greeted me with a warmth and humility that are rare in today's fast-paced world. He took the time to share a bit of his journey and the history of VN Pho, painting a vivid picture of dedication and passion. His hospitality and down-to-earth nature made the dining experience even more special.
What touched me deeply was an extraordinary act of kindness. Seeing me burdened with bags of groceries, Jimmy went above and beyond his call of duty. He took time out of his busy day to drive me home, sparing me the inconvenience of a bus ride. This gesture speaks volumes about his character and genuine care for his customers.
VN Pho is not just a restaurant; it is a haven of delicious food and heartfelt hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience. 10/10 would highly recommend! My suggestion is if you'd like to eat like a king or queen order the P.1 extra large,...
Read moreThe service here is terrible. I asked for a table to accommodate 8 people. The server pointed to the bench seats at the back wall. I asked if we could push some tables together to gather as friends and family. She said, “okay”, and watched as I moved the tables and chairs without offering assistance. The rest of the staff never offered to help either. The table and chairs were dirty with leftover trash from the previous diners. I had to ask for the table to be wiped. It never was. Their TV remote was also on our table. One would assume a TV remote has as much bacteria as a cell phone. This is completely unacceptable in a restaurant environment. After asking for a round of waters we were served a carafe with three rocks glasses. Can these people not count? I understand there is a language barrier, but counting translates the same in all languages. I had to ask three other times to get five more glasses and another carafe. The food was just okay and was prepared improperly. This resulted in us not all being served at the same time. Needless to say, we...
Read moreCame in for a take out bahn mih sandwiches, my order was immediately placed when I walked in but I waited for twenty five minutes. I saw two guests come in after I ordered and both of them were served before I got my food. If I saw one more person get their food before me and after I ordered I was gonna demand a refund regardless of the order status. The whole time I’m seated there all I can smell is fish sauce, now I’m familiar with fish sauce and not afraid of it, I use it at home; but it’s all I can smell in the air and not as if someone spilled it but sweet as if it was used in every recipe cooking. I saw something go in a microwave by the kitchen door. When I got my food and took it home my girlfriend couldn’t finish hers and had to order from somewhere else because there was so much fish sauce in the meat marinade it turned her stomach. I powered through mine and burped all day as if I ate a fish oil pill on an empty stomach. Never coming back to try the pho if I could smell that much fish...
