First, it started with not answering, which I understand b/c maybe he was taking a large order on the other end. He finally answered the phone, saying they were really busy, which is fine as well. I asked if they delivered, and he said yes but were really busy, and they stopped delivering at 9:30, and they were 8 orders behind already, so there is no delivery. I said thats fine, we'll do carry out he continue to emphasise the fact that they were behind on many orders already and ask did I really want to wait?" I said yes (we were here visiting, so pizza was the only place to get food to go so the kids could enjoy the pool before we left)!! I asked about the wing size, and he told me 20 was the largest, so i asked to split it 10 bbq and 10 hot. He got really annoyed and said I was making it complicated. I'm not really sure how saying split the sauce flavors in half was complicated but it was. He then cut me off to say that I'm going to need a credit card b/c it was a really large order. I've never known a place to take a credit card if you were paying cash in store. He then CONTINUED to emphasise that it will be a long wait to pick up it. I understand that they were very busy, but there no need to let the customers know that you were annoyed by the number of orders coming in at once. I've worked in fast food for a while, so I know it can get annoying but never project your feelings onto the customers it's a reflection of the store as a whole. Maybe they should let a person with a better attitude answer the phone when they are swamped...
Read moreWhen this location first opened my husband and I were so excited to try it. It became our favorite pizza place and we generally ordered from here every weekend! We were in love and the family who runs it were so professional, friendly, and offered amazing customer service. Itâs no longer that way. We quit ordering from here as the food and the service has gone down and when you call, they just donât care. They tell you they donât give credits and you need to drive the pizza all the way back when youâve ordered delivery for a reason.
Last night my husband and I decided after a long break to try again. The pizza arrived, but not before the driver got lost. I get the food and once again, itâs over cooked, and burned on the crust, definitely well done! It was soaked/dripping in grease, they didnât follow the customizations/toppings requested, and it was so tough to chew. The pepperoni was so burnt, it stabbed me in the gum from being so crispy.
I didnât bother to call as I know they wonât do anything and after working 12 hours on a Saturday Iâm not driving it back up at 10:00...
Read moreFrank Marzullo Wxixâ told us this morning on the news that Marco's was giving a free slice to anyone showing a picture of Christopher Columbus on a smart phone. My girlfriend, my son and myself all had our smart phones out with the pictures up. The manager there came out very grumpy and told us that it was only supposed to be today from 11 to 2 (it was 1:30), and that it was only 1 slice per phone. We got a 4th piece for the baby, and wanted to pay for it. I asked for 2 fountain drinks, and he said that the fountain didn't work. Other patrons had fountain drinks setting on the table...it was obvious that this guy thought that we were scumbags looking for a handout. He asked us what we wanted to drink and then proceeded to put a 2 liter on the counter for my kid. We were already holding our "free slices" that we got off of the buffet, and we just said forget the drinks. We paid for the baby's slice and exited the situation absolutely mortified. We have never had Marco's pizza before, and needless to say, we will not...
