From the moment I stepped into Outback Steakhouse, I was greeted with warm smiles and a vibrant atmosphere that set the stage for an unforgettable evening. The rustic Australian-themed décor transported me to a land down under, creating a delightful ambiance that perfectly complemented the mouthwatering cuisine that awaited.
Now, let’s talk about the star of the show—the food! Outback Steakhouse delivered beyond my wildest expectations. Each dish was a masterpiece, skillfully crafted to tantalize and satisfy even the most discerning palate. The menu boasted an array of options, but I found myself drawn to their legendary steaks. Cooked to perfection, each bite was a succulent symphony of flavors. Juicy, tender, and bursting with natural juices, the steaks were a testament to culinary excellence.
But Outback Steakhouse isn’t just about steak; they’ve truly mastered the art of a well-rounded dining experience. The appetizers were a delightful prelude to the main course, leaving me craving more with every bite. Whether it was the delectable Bloomin’ Onion, the mouthwatering Kookaburra Wings, or the flavorful signature Outback Crab Cakes, every dish left me speechless.
Equally impressive were the array of side dishes. The creamy, dreamy Loaded Mashed Potatoes were the perfect complement to the steaks, while the fresh and crisp Signature Side Salad added a refreshing balance to the meal. And let’s not forget about the unforgettable desserts! The towering Chocolate Thunder from Down Under was a chocolate lover’s paradise, and the heavenly New York-style Cheesecake was the epitome of indulgence.

Read moreI may be a little biased or set my standards a bit higher. However when I spend $200 on an average meal I expect some service. We walked in with a party of 8. Waited approx 20 - 25 min as we watched the empty table that ultimately became ours be half cleaned, witnessed a fight of who was to clean it and the staff's required 10min, "I must look at my phone and check social media before sitting you down." Our server did decide to show up got our drinks and our food. In the mean time another tussle between co-workers was witnessed, potty breaks were handled on our end. Which did give us time to explore. I discovered over 10 employees 4 tables: Ours of 8, 2 of 2 and one of 4. Many apologies were given to some of the tables for this and that. Otherwise the restaurant was empty. With only 1 actual employee working. (PS I gave that one a nice cash tip. I left the tipping for our meal upto the wife. I didn't feel generous to our server. This marked another end to our travels across the country and will pay for great service and food. A little advise was shared to that employee and with a smile they were on their way.) However in our discovery time not once did we see a manager or even spoke to one on our visit. Floors sat with food, napkins, utensils and ick the entire time we were there. (APPROX 1 HR PLUS) I'll have nightmares from the bathroom for sure ... DON'T TOUCH THE WALLS!
Oh wait the food. Yep ordinary, just ordinary no great mark up being The Outback Steakhouse. The lobster smelled a bit aged. My wife and I questioned ourselves ordering it before hand as to not be disappointed but other than the smell it was an average size of a fat crawdad. Chewy, gummy however you'd like to interpret the texture. My beed filet was decent. My final review? Save your money and find a tasty food truck, Five guy's burger or a long Jon Silvers fishstick place. Use the gas station bathroom with the fear of being robbed and you'll still be saving money and get better service. Maybe tip the gas attendant? This way 10 plus employees at a franchise don't need to charge $200 for the equivalent price of a McDonald's quarter pounder and filet-o-fish! Hate leaving bad reviews but after traveling for 10 days I expected more, plus I am writing this review a week later after tossing back and forth if I should or should not.
I openly post this straight to Outback and welcome their feedback...
Read moreCam at Outback Steakhouse Springdale changed my life. Picture it: me; tired, dirty, and so, so hungry. I'm on my last leg. The light is at the end of the tunnel and I'm seriously considering walking towards it. But then, suddenly, a figure of light floats down in a bubble and welcomes me to the dine-in service at Outback Steakhouse Springdale. It's Cam. He's greeted me with a smile and shown me the highlights of the menu, the thing which would be my guide through the next part of this journey. I knew immediately that I could trust him. His friendly and cheerful attitude assured me that all of my dinner needs would be met. What followed was maybe the singular best dining experience at an Outback Steakhouse that I've ever had - quickly surpassing those in Phoenix, Arizona and Peachtree City, Georgia. Despite his expeditiousness, Cam could barely get the rack of ribs to me in time to see the last of them completely slide off of the bone. The asparagus: soft and tender but with enough crunch to satisfy even the most particular of vegetarians. And don't get me started on the perfectly golden Aussie Fries. And for to wash it down with: an age-appropriate Boozy Cherry Limeade; prominently featuring the crisp flavor notes of both cherry, and lime. Through it all, Cam was my rock. When the intense (yet subtle and nuanced) flavors threatened to overwhelm me, he let me know that it'd be alright. When I'd only just had the thought of needing a bit more water to balance the impressively precise amount of salt (Himalayan?) on the fries, he was already by my side with a cold glass. The hand towelettes he provided me left my fingers looking better than any professional manicure. I checked with my bank after the meal and found that my credit score had improved by eight points. I don't know what kind of wage Cam is being offered (I suspect it's not enough for the kind of dedication he offers in return) but based on my 45 minutes in his domain I can tell that he's not just in it for the money - he's in it because he cares. If I could have children (not since the accident, unfortunately) I would name my first born...
