If you are thinking about vising the Jared store in Tri-County for your jewelry needs, shop elsewhere. I stopped by this location after 5pm on May 9th with a piece of jewelry that was recently purchased at Jared but needed to be exchanged. When I entered the store there were no customers visible, only one female employee and one male employee. The male employee greeted me and I let him know the reason for my visit very clearly making sure there was no confusion on what my needs were. He asked me if I had my receipt and I let him know that I did not. The employee then told me that unless I had a receipt, he could not help me at all. I returned to my vehicle and looked online at Jared’s return policy (which I had reviewed prior to my visit) to make sure that I had read it correctly. Afterwards, I called the Jared store located in Kenwood and spoke to Max and explained to him that I had a piece of jewelry to exchange and I did not have the receipt. He was able to look up the order while we were on the phone to verify that the purchase had been within the last 30 days and told me to stop by because he could assist. I went ahead and headed to the Kenwood location the same day. Max helped me find a piece of jewelry that I liked. We ended up needing to special order the piece so I went back to the store a second time on May 15th to confirm and finalize everything. Both visits to the Kenwood location were nothing short of a spectacular experience. Max was very informative, patient, and professional. Even when he stepped away from me there was not one employee on either day that I visited the Kenwood store who did not check on me in the middle of what they were doing to make sure that I was alright. Big difference in my experience in not even a few minutes worth of a visit at the Tri-County location. The male employee “working” (using that term loosely) there clearly did not want to help me in any way. From his poor customer service and misguidance on company policy, felt like the only thing he might be working to do is to drive that location into the ground. Under no circumstances would I ever recommend anyone to shop the Tri-County...
Read moreI can't express how horrible the customer service has been at this store. My husband purchased a very expensive anniversary ring for me on Nov. 29th. They did not have my size. I was told I would have the ring in 2-3 weeks, well in time for the holidays. When I had heard nothing in 2 1/2 weeks, I called to check on the ring. The "manager" Theresa called me back and left a message and told me she would check on the ring but the business that was sizing my ring was closed the next day, which was a Friday. I called the next day and spoke to another employee. She said that they had actually received an email from the business sizing my ring on Dec 11th.....THREE DAYS BEFORE I CALLED THEM THE FIRST TIME and was lied to, that the ring was on back order. She said she would try to put a rush on it and someone would call me on Monday. When no one called me on Monday.....surprise, surprise....I called them on Tuesday. I was then told my ring would not be ready until the end of January......NINE WEEKS, not the 2 to 3 I was originally told. I was then told to call customer care so they could help me because of all of the horrible customer service that I had received so far. I called customer care. The person I spoke to apologized and said this was awful and they would take care of it and that I would hear back from someone in 24 to 48 hours. I also received an email stating the same thing. 48 hours came and went and I never heard from anyone. So much for their "customer care" department. I called them again and was told I would hear from someone in 7 to 10 days .....quite a pattern of lies and horrible customer service. DO NOT BUY YOURSELF OR A LOVED ONE ANYTHING HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE LIED TO, IGNORED AND RECEIVE ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ANY KIND. You can find the same product at many other jewelry stores at at a better price and be treated...
Read moreDecember of 2022, I came in knowing absolutely nothing about diamonds. However, I had a budget and I knew I wanted to shop at a reputable jewelry store. Thus, Jared's was a no brainer! I googled around to see who had the best reviews between Cincinnati/Kentucky and the Tri County location had the best reviews by far. I saw the name Karen in multiple positive reviews and decided she was the salesperson for me. I don’t often get it right, but deciding to see her was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I came into the store and told her my thoughts about purchasing an engagement ring for my girlfriend and to my surprise, she sent me home with homework! I was shocked honestly. Not at the homework itself, but I was shocked that she wasn’t just trying to sell me the biggest and most expensive ring they had. Instead, she wanted me to learn the 4Cs of diamonds and then come back when I was ready. She really wanted me to understand what I was buying and not just take her word for it. I knew then and there that I was in good hands. She took the time to answer all my questions and never asked me to go above my budget. She remained in contact with me through every step of the process even through some difficulties I had with resizing the ring at another location. The ring speaks for itself for the level of quality, but the staff makes the ring that much more special. I cannot recommend this store enough. Everyone in there is kind, patient, and attentive. This place makes you feel like family and those are the kind of people you want to handle your jewelry. Ms. Karen puts her heart and soul into making sure the customer is happy and you don’t find many people like that these days. Overall, I’d recommend this store to any and everyone! 10 out of...
