Shirley's — Restaurant in Springdale

Was in town for a week with several co-workers and we strolled into this hidden gem one night after hearing they have karaoke. While there for the first time, we quickly learned this place had real character. Everyone there knew one another and loved to dance, sing, and party. The best part of the experience was how welcoming we felt even being at a bar primarily made up of local regulars. The drink selection was great, the service was phenomenal, and the karaoke DJ found everyone's​ song no matter what it was. We loved the place so much, we returned again two nights later, this time with 30 or so more people all in town for the same event. We were greeted with hugs by the staff and all partied together once more singing and dancing together. I loved the place and community so much I was sad when returning home. Pros - Energy was pretty solid - Ended up being Karaoke night which was cool. Could end up being your local go-to bar in Springdale if the atmosphere matches your vibe. Cons - some tattooed dude who's an employee, (not sure if he was working when this happened) was definitely the drunkest person there and seemed to be involved in multiple altercations in the few house I was there in which he was taking off his shirt and instigating fights. (Props to the older lady in back for checking him) .

WTH did we just walk into?

Karaoke night Thursday - all kinds of kinds inside. = No Problem Problem = Few in karaoke rotation - made it to sing only once. (???) Bartender = Simple drinks: bottled beer + 2 drink mix & 2 outta 3 was lacking. Seriously? How? But didn't check to see if it was correct and ALWAYS had to go to bar to be served. Last straw was patron who didn't wash hands in bathroom that immediately called for karaoke handling microphone......

Perhaps the outdoor patio was better suited for us. But we will NEVER choose this...
