China Buffet — Restaurant in Springfield Township

The china buffet is a real swell place. Walked in and we're greeted with a smiling face. While waiting to be seated, we glanced at the buffet that was nice and heated. Steam rolling up in the air, you couldn't help but stare. The fresh aroma was crispy and sweet. Seemed like a great place to eat. Our waitress came and sat us by the door, the table was clean and even the floor. Nervous, we've haven't been to a buffet since the pandemic came to stay. As we walked up we noticed a box of plastic gloves, thank you, we cried out, a blessing from above! All the yummy food, what could we do! Beef and broccoli, shrimp, crab Rangoon General TSO chicken, egg rolls and lots of seafood Oodles of noodles, rice makes you feel twice as nice. The only reason I put a star on here was because I had to to leave this post. My friend and I have been going here for quite some time always had a great experience. Last week we were in there towards the evening and the food was horrible the service was even worse. I didn't get my drink until the end of my meal they had no white rice on the bar and the food was burnt. When I told the manager about it she got really rude and started yelling and then dining room at the employees. I was appalled I cannot believe that they run a business like this. Because of this experience I will never be back. The only way that she met this right was by giving me and my so-called drink for free. I wasn't looking for anything but the fact that she didn't even acknowledge the issue I was very unprofessional in my opinion. I have been to this buffet a number of times. Each time the food has been pretty good ( but the Hot and Sour Soup is neither hot nor sour). My real complaint is the service. The waitresses only have two jobs, bring the drinks, and bring the bill. I almost always have to ask for my bill even if I have been sitting and waiting for over 5 minutes ( this has happened on numerous occasions and the place was not busy). One waitress looked right at me sitting there and walked across the room and talked to the other waitress. I've even had a waitress try to charge me for two meals when I was eating alone.
