East of Chicago Pizza — Restaurant in Springfield Township

When ordering I was told to bear with her cuz she’s new, so I t took a bit to complete the order. I asked if they could cut the pizza like others cut garlic bread pizza, and was told yes. When the pizza arrived, the topping were so spread out, only a few pieces had all the toppings, and enough cheese to choke a chicken. Asked for extra sausage and onions, with barely any of both on it, and the pizza was cut in triangles. When I called about it, it took some time for them to even find my order. While now speaking with manager, all I got was excuses, and when it came to the cutting of the pizza , I was told they only cut them per company standard of square or triangle. I was surprised he was anything but polite, and never once even apologized. It was actually the owner who I spoke with, and was the one to deliver the replacement pizza. When showing him the pizza, that already had the cheese pealed back to expose the lack of toppings. He told me that I kept his employee on the phone for 7 minutes when I ordered, an 11 minutes when I called back, and now, you waisted 5 more minutes, rifling through the pizza to show him what’s wrong with it. With more excuses, and still no apology, I still stuck my hand out to shake his hand, and left me hanging it out there for like 10 seconds, till I said, that is why I’m willing to shake your hand. He reach up, and shook my hand and squeezed with “WAY” more force than anyone ever shook my hand with, unless they were making a point to. I was so excited to be getting a new store in our area, but will never again order from there, or his Lexington store, which has similar reviews, regarding...

We phone ordered one of the square pizzas from the new Ontario location and they made it regular and put so much sauce and cheese and barely any topping that it was falling off the crust. They told us 30 minutes and the pizza was obviously done much sooner than that since it wasn’t very hot man and it was so soggy with grease. Would be worth the extra drive to Lex. Hope...

We haven't had East of Chicago in a bit. I was so excited when I saw there was now one right down the road from our business. Had my husband grab a taco pizza on his way home. Absolutely the best taco pizza we have had from anywhere. You'll be seeing me at least...
