These are the best damn subs I’ve had and I’m SO GLAD they’ve finally expanded to Ohio! I was first introduced to NJ Mike’s when I lived in MI a few years ago. They were good there too!
There was once a chain of pizza & sub shops in MI called “Dino’s” and they made the best subs I’d had during the 80’s. They’d shred their lettuce until it was as fine as angel hair pasta and use fresh meats that were delivered each morning. Occasionally, they’d run out of meat or bread because it was delivered DAILY.
NJM’s taste is reminiscent of Dino’s subs. NJM bakes their rolls each morning and occasionally they run out, which I’m totally fine with so long as the subs continue to be so tasty. I’ve only had the #13 Italian COLD, as I can’t bring myself to try anything else because the 13 is just so damn good!
I have no affiliation with NJM’s, I just ask them questions when I order and they’re happy to comment on how they make their subs. I’ve NEVER had a bad experience here and we’ve been eating here several times a month since 2017. Every single order has been PERFECT, which rarely happens these days. There might be 3 restaurants total in Ontario that’s I’d give 5 stars, NJM being among the most deserving.
If you’re interested in traditional, old school Italian subs made with high quality ingredients and freshly baked rolls, there’s simply no place even close to New...
Read moreI've never seen a restaurant that has a problem with Accepting$100 bill for payment for my food and the person that was making sandwiches come over and touch my food without changing their gloves and starts wrapping up my food but the problem with that is I'm Allergic to tomatoes if I'm not getting tomatoes didn't know I was supposed to let them know so when I said something that's when it became a big problem I stood in this place and watched them make everyone else orders twice before they ever started to remake my order that was already paid for then the general manager lied and said that they had remake my food three different times and they had not since they made it the first time so she waited until my three subs were almost done to tell me she was giving me back my money and to not come back to this Jersey Mike's RidiculousS to I have to go through this with a general manager at any Establishment just to...
Read moreAmended. After talking to the owners, we decided to give it another try. This time the bread was fresh. The staff offered to make it Mike's way and did know what that meant. A much better experience and what we expect from one of our favorite sub shops. Nice job!
We love Jersey Mike's but we've been to this location twice now and it's been pretty mediocre at best. This last time the bread was dry, hard and crumbly. Not sure if it's overbaked or stale but it caused the sub to not be very good. I should have said something when they were cutting it because I could see it was hard. Also I asked for my sub Mike's way and the guy didn't put seasoning or vinegar and oil on the sub. I'm pretty sure that should be done when you say Mike's way. We may try it one more time but if it's still just ok it will probably be our last attempt sorry to say. Because we've always loved...
