Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Springfield Township

I go to this location quite often. As this CoVid event has changed a lot of processes the visit I had today was a total terrible experience.

We were only 4 people who were up since 3:30 in the morning finishing a large job in Pittsburgh.

We were not clean cut but in construction it’s hard to work all day in the sun and rain and look perfect.

It all started when our waitress came to our table and took drink orders. She explained what the 3 limit was so we asked if types of drinks were viewed different or three drinks no matter what. As she did not know and we had a DD we placed our drink requests accordingly. Only two of the three of us ordered drinks. We were also talking amounts us on appetizers as we were all Hungry

We decided on two we asked for one of them and she turned around and walked away. It took 5 minutes for our drinks to come but the non alcoholic drink came in under a minute and mine was wrong.

As someone else brought us the drinks we asked her for the other appetizer as our waitress did not come back. When she did return to take our order she walked away again and two people wanted waters but it was too late.

When our meals came the waitress did not return.

“I literally called the restaurant from my cell phone and asked for our waitress to come back to our table” We were all sitting with no drinks. She took an order and rushed off. She did not return for a very long time.

Our waitress brought our tab and dropped it on the table and walked away. She did not ask if we wanted anything else. When she came back for payment as we were not done I ordered a pizza for my wife and daughters to go and we wanted one final round. Not a complex drink but a Jack Daniels on the rocks. I got a JD in a glass no ice. As this was the last straw. We had half eaten sandwiches and were never asked if we wanted to go boxes. I understand but I felt as if we were treated very poorly. I was very frustrated

It was by far the worst experience I have had at this or any primantis location so far. In less than an hour we had a 100 dollar plus bill. I left a tip but I did not want to as this was a terrible experience.

We ate here last evening and it was one of the worst waitress experiences I’ve ever had. I try to be understanding of servers as I’ve been in the business myself. However, our server was, by far, one of the worst I’ve ever had. Her name was Emma and it literally took her 10 minutes to even come over and greet us and ask for our drink order. At that point, we were ready to order. She never looked us in the eyes or even cracked a smile. She never said thanks or I’ll be right back or anything. Literally took our order down, swiped the menus off the tables and left. She came back with our drinks about 5 minutes later and, again, said nothing. Just put them down on the table and walked away without eye contact or here are your drinks… nothing. We waited about a half hour on our food and another person served it to us. Everything came out separately. At that point, a couple of us needed drink refills and we had to flag her down to get them. We also had to flag her down because we had no silverware or plates for our pizza or fries. She rolled her eyes and said does EVERYONE really need silverware? Uhm… why yes, we do. She piled the paper plates and silverware at the end of the table as she walked by. Again, saying nothing. The next time we saw her she came up to the table and asked if we needed boxes as she dropped off our check. We were dumb founded because, at that point, we were all still eating and not even close to being finished as well as the fact that she never even asked us if our food was ok or if we needed anything etc…. We felt so rushed. We, again, had to ask for another refill. When we went to pay the check was wrong because it was buy one get one pizza night. We, kindly, mentioned the mistake to her and she rolled her eyes, grabbed it out of our hands and went to grab a manager to fix it. This was the worst, non sociable person I’ve ever seen as a waitress. She had no facial expression, no empathy and a total lack of people skills. As far as the pizza and fried, it was good. But the service was very unacceptable...

Such a disappointing visit. We have been coming here since this location opened and usually it's great! This time we came with a party of six, got told a 20 -25 minute wait, no problem there. We waited and in that time watched multiple parties who came after us of 3 and 4 people get seated all while there was also a table that could seat 8 that sat there for 20 minutes dirty and ignored untill finally someone came and cleaned it and sat us there. Waitress came promptly and got us our drinks, appetizers and food orders than we didnt see her again for 35 minutes. We sat there watching people who came in the door after us leaving after having already eaten, with empty drinks, no appitizers while she stood around fixing her hair and chatting to other employees. Finally she came and asked if we got our appetizers, we said no and she went back to the kitchen stating that brining food out isnt her job. Minutes went by and a manager came out with the waitress bringing our appetizers apologizing and saying they would take them off the bill. Appetizers came for all us but one, than our food came seconds after. Our food was cold, and the girl who got the appetizer that still was missings food was so cold that she had to ask for it to be heated up in a microwave. We spent a total of 2 hours there. Got our bills and go figure nothing was taken off the bill. Had to flag down another manager, they took it off and the waitress apologized saying she didnt look at the bills before giving them to us. We arnt picky, we understand things happen but the whole situation was just ridiculous. The second manager finally compt our appitizers and drinks which was appreciated but needless to say we dont...
