Placed an order in the morning on Tuesday, October 11 via their website. A short time later, received an email that our order was in and we can expect delivery within 4 business days. It goes on to explain that in order to ensure product freshness, orders placed on or after Thursday are held until Monday.
Their email is incorrect on many points. First of all, orders placed Monday-Wednesday are not processed the same week. They are processed the same as those received Thursday-Sunday; the following week. This makes a ship time of 4 business days impossible regardless of what day your order is placed.
I have absolutely NO idea why they even bother sending the email about shipping being 4 business days because it is NOT true. Had I known it was going to take over a full week to leave the shop, I would have waited to place the order because we will not be home next week.
If you are waiting for your order, don't bother emailing them because they will not respond. You have to call.
The agent I spoke to on the phone, on Friday 10/14 at 1 pm was exasperated and wanted to explain to me all the nuances (like for example that e-commerce has off on Fridays) and all the issues they are dealing with ("he" aka "e-commerce" man probably has "300 orders ahead of you.") This is just poor customer service.
With all due respect Chocolate Moonshine Co, I do not care to know how the fudge is made. Just be transparent about your shipping schedule.
Apparently they are charging a high price for their gourmet products while operating their business like a Walmart.
We will not be ordering from the Chocolate Moonshine...

From Classic Chocolate, Peanut Butter, and Maple Walnut to the more decadent Dark Chocolate Sea Salt, Butter Pecan, Cookies & Cream, and Chocolate Moonshine, each flavor has its own rich personality. My personal favorites? Rocky Road, Chocolate Raspberry, and Bourbon Pecan — pure heaven in every bite.
The texture is velvety smooth, never grainy, and the subtle moonshine essence adds that perfect grown-up twist. I chop them into bite-sized pieces and add them to my charcuterie boards, alongside European cheeses, mixed nuts, fruit, and crackers. It’s the ideal treat for a cozy Friday evening in, paired with a good glass of red wine and your favorite movie or Netflix binge.
And here’s a bonus tip: if you freeze them, they stay fresh for 6 to 8 months without losing flavor or texture.
Verdict: Sinfully smooth, dangerously delicious, and totally worth the splurge — especially if you’re like me and can’t choose just one flavor. Every bite feels like a little...
