Andy’s Frozen Custard is not ice cream. It’s something else. Something better. Something smoother, creamier, and more satisfying. It’s custard, and it’s made fresh every hour, right here in this humble shop.

You can get it plain, or with any topping you can think of. They make their own brownies, cookies, pies, and cakes every day, and chop up fresh fruits and nuts. They have sauces, syrups, candies, and sprinkles. They have everything you need to make your custard dreams come true.

But if you’re feeling adventurous, you can try one of their specials. They have concretes, which are cups of custard blended with your choice of mix-ins. They have jackhammers, which are concretes with a core of hot fudge or caramel in the middle. They have sundaes, splits, shakes, malts, floats, and freezes. They have something for everyone.

I’ve tried many of their creations, and I have a few favorites. One is the BootDaddy Concrete, a glorious combination of vanilla or chocolate custard, Oreo cookies, crème caramel, and hot fudge. It’s a sweet and salty masterpiece, with a crunchy and smooth contrast that makes every bite a delight.

Another one is the James Brownie Funky Jackhammer, a truly funky twist on a classic brownie sundae. It’s a cup of custard mixed with peanut butter and brownies, with a core of hot fudge that oozes out when you dig in. It’s a gooey and nutty treat that will make you feel good.

But don’t take my word for it. Go to Andy’s Frozen Custard and see for yourself. It’s not just a dessert place. It’s a place where you can escape from the world for a while. A place where you can have fun, relax, and indulge your senses. A place where you can find happiness in a cup.

But be warned: Andy’s Frozen Custard is not for the faint of heart. It’s not necessarily cheap, it’s certainly not healthy, and some of the creations are only available during certain seasons.

You may have to wait in line, you may have to deal with hungry crowds of people, you may have to avoid the crowds by driving to another location. You will most certainly have to face the consequences of eating too much sugar, too much fat, and loads of calories.

But trust me: it’s oh...

One of my favorite Andy's locations (I became an Andy's connoisseur after it became my #1 pregnancy craving in 2015!) (And well, I still crave it constantly, but maybe I'll just still blame it on my kids.)

My favorite is the Snowmonster, which is always refreshing and not too rich so I can eat the whole thing and not feel like a total glutton. And it has strawberries, so it's healthy, right? I'd have a picture of it, but I normally forget because I get too excited to eat it to stop to take a photo!

Even if the line is long they move you through fast, so don't be too afraid to stop if it looks busy.

My favorite time to go is in the evening. Go, get some custard, sit, people/car watch and enjoy!

Thank you Andy's!! My taste buds love you!

(But my wallet...

In all of the many years I don't recall having a bad custard, nor a bad experience. It is a must have for anyone either from the area or passing through!!! It doesn't matter the time of year either! There is always something new to try too!

When I went there the other day I ordered the Ozarks turtle. It has melted caramel, fudge, pecans, and a cherry. It is one of my favorites! My wife got the chocolate mint cookie concrete. It add what tasted like the chocolate mint Girl Scout cookies mixed in! One of my children got the chocolate chip cookie dough concrete. And my son isn't usually able to finish the regular concrete, so we had them do it custard and added a topping to it. They're always very accommodating when it...

Andy’s Frozen Custard is a standout treat in the Branson and Ozark area, known for its rich and creamy frozen custard that locals and visitors alike rave about. The custard is smooth, flavorful, and always served fresh. With a variety of toppings and mix-ins, it’s easy to create your perfect dessert. The shop itself has a friendly, casual atmosphere, and the staff is always welcoming. Whether you’re enjoying a classic cone or one of their signature concretes, Andy’s never disappoints. It’s the perfect stop for anyone in the area craving a sweet and satisfying treat.

The line is always a little long, but the wait is worth it! I love they have two menus so as you’re briefly waiting your turn to order, you have an opportunity to think about what you want. It’s especially important given all the delicious options you have to choose from. This time my wife and I got the Freedom Berry Jackhammer and the Jitterbug Concrete, both were AMAZING! We don’t frequent here often, but when we want a special, sweet treat Andy’s is our go-to place.
