Arby's — Restaurant in Springfield

Management need to be aware of their staff and how rude some are.

I considered Texas Roadhouse but thought I would try this Arby's on Wabash - BIG mistake!

I had looked online to see what deals they offered for the 2 for 6 deal but the signage did not match online and I asked the young man what's available. His reply, "It's on the board."

Are you kidding me!

A woman interrupted and listed off ALL that was currently available (MOST were NOT listed on the board) and responded that they no longer sold the fish sandwich. Ok. So I chose two gyros, one lamb and the other turkey, with NO ONIONS and a small order of the new crinkle cut fries, with LOTS of sauce.

And he responded with that will be $10.##!

WTH! It's 2 for $6 and a dollar fries. Well, that was quickly corrected...

Paid at the window and as I was presented with my bag, I verified it had extra sauce, and it did.

Pulled off, parked and began eating. Got almost through my first gyro and finally realized there were no fries under the other sandwich and napkins!!!

Drive back and tell the guy no fries and pull up to the window. Another guy was there and handed me a bag. Not sure if he apologized as he...

I don't review fast food🍔🍟 unless it's noteworthy🏆. This is only about the ARBY'S Springfield IL Veterans & Wabash location (SW corner) at 9:58 pm, 7/22/22. They close @10 😳. We're old👩🏻‍🦳👴🏼 and went to a movie📽️ past our bedtime. Only to say that we honestly didn't know they were closing until the 💡went out after we ordered. Really! We're not those people! If you know when a place closes & roll up 2 min til then you are those people and should be ashamed. If they cared, you'd have never known it. Two different young employees🙍🏾👱🏻‍♀️ helped us and both were so nice and professional that it obviously made an impression😊. I'm sorry I didn't see their names. The 🍔 and🥤were fresh, hot, and tasted great! Thank you from two old folks on date...

I admit I wasn't a big fan of Arby's when the chain first opened. But I've noticed their advertising -- "They have the meats". No longer is this a Roast Beef sandwich place. Their chicken salad sandwiches care really pretty good. Their dreamsicle milkshake are REALLY good. Chicken sandwiches are very popular nowdays, and Arby's has a good one. Their fries are just so so. I won't orders those again...but as far as fries go, you can't beat McDonald's for fries, if they're fresh, just fried (If not -- they're like everyone's else's, blah.).
