Casey's — Restaurant in Springfield

Every pizza I have ordered from this Casey's has been late. Once, I waited twenty minutes in my car because they hadn't begun making the food until after I arrived. The same thing happened today, and it's the last time I will enter this store.

There's always an excuse, usually something that is completely irrelevant to making pizza. "Our fuel pumps went down" was the nonsense I heard this time. You can't make pizza because the fuel pumps are not operable? Does the oven run on E85? Did you have to go outside and manually pump gas for people with a hand pump? Is the woman who makes the pizza also responsible for the maintenance of the fuel pumps? I find it very surprising that one of the three people behind the counter couldn't have called this one in without out the help from the lady in the deli. When I arrived at my scheduled time, once again, they hadn't even started my pizza yet. No one was in the kitchen. The tables in the kitchen were empty aside from a few prestreched pizza doughs. Nothing was out, or being prepared, or moving along the conveyorized oven. What a joke. If you can visit a Casey's location that staffs competent employees, you'll love the pizza they offer. But that's a big "IF."

Awful experience so dirty and nasty. We went in for a pizza the guy at the pizza counter was rude and didn’t seem to appreciate us asking for our pizza we ordered ahead. Had his headphones in and as we waited a few mins since it was saying on the app it was ready.

We wanted fountain drinks and the cups fountains were dirty, the floor felt sticky beneath my feet there was nothing in stock for frozen food.

As we went over to the counter to get the pizza the guy just stood there holding it out didn’t even say anything or act like he wanted to be there. He seem to have a bad attitude and honestly I won’t be back for the store’s appearance alone. The gas pumps half of them didn’t work without any signage up saying what did and didn’t work.

The guy doesn’t need to be working there if he can’t even be mildly friendly. The only highlight was leaving.

If I could give zero I would. We waited over an hour and a half for our pizza to be delivered last night. I ordered directly through their app. Come to find out my pizza was delivered to the wrong apartment number 30 minutes earlier. Never had a call, never had a notification on the app that it was "there". Still don't know where that pizza went. I called the store, they told me I had to dispute it with doordash because apparently that's who they use. I don't care, I ordered it through their app and now I have to go through a 3rd party to get a refund? I don't want a refund! I want my pizza! After an hour of debating back and forth they simply told me their store manager would contact me tomorrow. They told me they're going to refund my money, but it could take up to 5 days. And offered me 50% off my next pizza for the inconvenience LOL. So they took my money, my time, and left me with absolutely nothing. Awful way to do business and will never be ordering...
