I recently dined at Fuji Japanese Seafood and Steakhouse and found the experience to be a mixed bag. The food itself was quite good, deserving a solid four-star rating. The seafood, sushi, and teppanyaki dishes were well-prepared, fresh, and flavorful, and the chef was spot on, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and skilled cooking.
However, the overall experience left something to be desired. The service felt rushed, as though the staff were more concerned with turning over tables quickly rather than providing a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. This was particularly evident when our waitress brought us the check before we had even asked for it, despite our interest in ordering dessert and additional drinks. This sense of being hurried detracted from the atmosphere, making it difficult to fully enjoy the meal.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was average, earning three stars. While the decor and ambiance were pleasant enough, the rushed service overshadowed what could have been a more enjoyable dining experience. It's understandable that restaurants aim for efficiency, especially during busy periods, but this should not come at the expense of customer comfort and satisfaction.
Overall, I am rating Fuji three stars. The food quality is commendable, but the service needs improvement to provide a more relaxed and welcoming dining experience. If the staff can strike a better balance between efficiency and customer care, Fuji has the potential to offer a truly...
Read moreFuji's does not honor reservation times. We waited over 30 minutes past the time we reserved and then they split up my whole party. I had reservations for 20 people for a wedding dinner party. When we arrived at our reservation time we still had to wait 30 minutes for our table. They told us that the people at one of our tables wasn't leaving, but really is was just mismanagement of reservation times. I picked fujis so we could have a reserved table for our big group and be seated upon arrival. It was completely disastrous as they tried to see us at two separate tables instead of putting us all together. We told them we made reservation so we could all sit together and not be split up. So, they made us split up and got us seated THEN told us that we could go ahead and move once the other party left. So once half my party was seated we still had to get up and move tables. It was very awkward and I could tell the manager was being extremely rude to the waiters who were trying to accommodate us, but the manager just tried to get us seated wherever they could and didn't care about accommodating my party and honoring our reservation. The food was good, but I will not be making a reservation there ever again, as they highly disappointed us when I had such high...
Read moreService once we got to the table Valentine’s Day. But when we arrived at after having reservation today when I checked in, stated that the weight was longer than expected, if you go have a seat. We waited 30 minutes past our reservation time no problem. When we heard our name, I walked up to the hotel today and told him that we were the party that he had Raised. His voice said all of these people here have a reservation. You’re gonna have to sit down. I stated again that we were the party that he had just called and he said he didn’t have any by that name . I explained to him that I had watched him cross our name off the list. He said he had not done that we were not on the list and was getting really loud and rude. I kept explaining to him that he had made a reservation two days and that we were on the list. He just kept getting loud and closer to my face and talking to be real slow like I was stupid. I have had bad service at other restaurants, but to be talked down to like I didn’t understand what was happening Was really humiliating in a room full of people and in front of my family on Valentine’s Day. I understand that he was probably stressed with the amount of people that were there, but there is no excuse for this type of behavior in A public...
