EDIT: I've left my original 3 star review for transparency but upped to 5 stars because dangit I love their food.
Also, I haven't had bad service in quite a few visits. I think they've got some of their workflow kinks worked out.
I love this place. Their pad see ew and the golden bags are so delicious.
I absolutely love the food here and eat here frequently. I think that's what makes me extra frustrated about this.
I placed an order several hours ahead of time with a pickup at 5:15 PM on a Saturday. I arrived early but waited until 5:15 to announce my arrival to give them a chance to finish up the order. No response or message via text from them.
I sat in line with three other cars in front of me where we all sat for nearly 20 minutes. A server came out and got each of our names, but didn't explain the hold-up (my order was already 5 mins late at this point). It was another 10-15 minutes before anyone in front of me received their order.
It was pouring down rain but I'd been sitting outside for close to half an hour past my pickup when I finally went inside to see what was going on. The girl working the pick-up counter was on the phone, so I ran to use the restroom real quick. I came back and four other people were ahead of me. Ok, fine. Fair enough.
I finally get to my turn and they were just now bagging my food up, almost a half hour past our pickup time.
No offers of an explanation. No apology for having to get drenched to come in and see what was going on. Nothing. Just handed me the food and quickly went back to work.
I'm an understanding customer, really. If you're busy, just tell me. If things got backed up or there was an error, just give me a courtesy heads up or apology. Seriously.
I got my food home and while I normally enjoy Everyday Thai's food immensely, the spice level on my food was off. In fact, the dish that is normally pretty flavorful was sadly bland.
I'll come back sometime but it will be a while. I'm really frustrated by the...

The wait staff was polite, but the service was absolutely atrocious in the strangest way. We ordered an appetizer, which was delicious. It was also the only part of the entire order that was taken correctly. I ordered fried rice without pineapple, and whatever dish I received came with steamed rice and pineapple!? They also swapped it with my guest's order, and what she received was not what she ordered, either. Being new to Thai food, it took us a moment to realize this and we ended up openly trying the dishes to a fair bit of disappointment. There was barely any meat in such an expensive meal. Overall it wasn't terrible, but 100% not what we ordered. Nowhere near worth the cost of the meal.
Later, a second waiter came to our table and asked us (fairly aggressively) if we would like to pay now, and this was while I was still eating. I had to gesture for a to-go box as I was chewing while he accosted us. He assumed we would pay with a card and was ready to swipe it then and there on his handheld device, without mentioning that they charge a ~3% fee for card transactions. We actually wanted to pay with cash, so he asked us to "follow him to the register." What on earth is up with that? Can they not deliver a check to us like every other restaurant? The waiters behavior was real sketchy, like he was suspicious we were going to dine and dash. Obviously that was not the case and he had no reason to act this way. It was a very weird interaction and a real turn off, especially as first-time customers.
The food we had was good. Not excellent, and definitely not worth the price. The wait staff is highly incompetent and exhibited incredibly condescending behavior. The appetizer was the only correct part of the mediocre meal. Unless you enjoy authentically terrible Thai, I highly recommend avoiding this establishment...
Read moreThursday, March 30th, 2023, came around 7PM-730PM, Extremely disappointed.
I am baffled at the lack of respect and customer service shown to my family. We have been traveling nonstop for the past 10 hours on our way to a funeral out of state, and we were looking to stop in MO and eat Thai food. Upon sitting down and ordering food, our waiter, a White male 18+/early-mid 20's with short brown hair was extremely rude and disrespectful.
Since the beginning of when we sat down, he looked at us as if we were bothering him and SUCH a burden. He not only did not treat us with respect, common courtesy, and professional customer service, he was impatient and rushed us and spoke in a tone as if we were stupid and not ordering fast enough.
My mom was at a lost for words, got her order confused and was shocked and just stopped because of his tone, constant interrupting, and disrespect.
We finished ordering, but felt super uncomfortable and felt as if he was mistreating us because we were Asian based on the observations with how courteous he was treating other customers (who where White). Even if it seemingly wasn't the case, it definitely felt like it and it hurt. We ultimately decided that we would not patronize this restaurant and cancelled our order.
Once canceling and on our way leaving, the waiter had the audacity to come out and say "What's wrong? Did something happen?" with a concerned and ingenuine tone. The audacity.
I'm sorry I did not cancel my order fast enough, but he and they should feel even more sorry for wasting my/our time.
I was too tired and exhausted from the day's travels to request to see a manager, or even give the staff the upset and full piece of my mind.
As a matter of fact, even after telling my experience to the staff who welcomed us in, no apology was given. So, unless you want a discrimatory meal accompanied with untrained, disrespectful, rude, and discourteous staff,...
