My husband and I went here for lunch before a doctors appointment. Upon arriving, there wasn’t anyone else in the store. We ordered our food, paid, and sat down. After about 10 minutes, we hadn’t received our food. At this point an employee came out asking if we got a chicken salad sandwich. I told her no, I ordered the southwest sandwich and a side salad and what my husband ordered. She responds with okay and walks away. After 20 minutes of not receiving our food my husband goes up to the front to ask the status on it. The employee didn’t even ask what we had ordered, or check the screen, he immediately told him they were working on it. He says okay and sits down.
Now it’s been about 40 minutes and still no food. At this point I’m getting irritated because people that came in after us were getting their food and we now had to be across town in 20 minutes for an appointment. I went to the front to ask about or food and the employee asked what we ordered and I told her. She then grabs our food that had been bagged up (was not supposed to be to go) and tell her manager they figured what happened with order number 123.
She tells me they couldn’t figure out whose order it was and tries to hand it to me. I told her the food was supposed to be for here and that it has already been sitting for 40 minutes. Not to mention we aren’t going to be able to eat it all now because I have a doctors appointment across town and what we ordered isn’t really convenient to eat as drive. The employee gets an attitude, huffs and says, “so, what? Do you want a refund?” As she snatches the food off the counter.” I tell her yes, because we haven’t even gotten to eat the food and we already paid for it. She calls her manager over who had trouble processing the refund and tells us that he has to call his manager to figure out what’s wrong with the system. I express to him that we now have 15 minutes to make it across town and cannot wait. He ensures that he will talk to his manager and get the situation figured out and refunded. It’s been about 2 weeks and...
Read moreIf only I could leave 0 stars. One of the worst customer service I have seen. Came in to eat on July 31st around 8:15 pm with my mom. She got the French Dip and I ordered the Spicy Turkey Melt. When the employee came out to deliver our food I asked for extra chipotle ranch. When she left to grab me some, my mom noticed her meat was cold all through the center, she was just going to ask for them to reheat the sandwich some more. The female employee came back and forgot what dipping sauce I asked for - I told her, along with my mom having her sandwich open, told her that the meat was cold. Out of nowhere the employee put her BARE hand on my mothers meat and said, “oh my gosh it is!” We didn’t say anything because she took the plate. We were sitting right by the cash registers closer to the kitchen and we heard another employee, the manger, tell her cook to reheat the sandwich. My mom hurried and went to the front saying “excuse me, please make me a new sandwich, the girl put her hand on my sandwich.”
All I can say is first, we were SHOCKED she touched read to eat food with her bare hands. Makes you think, do you touch my food bare handed in the kitchen? I mean if you feel comfortable enough to touch my food without any gloves on right in front of me, what goes on in the back??
Manager told them she was going to bring out the sandwich herself. My mom and I were expecting an apology and just a warm greeting from the manager. We got quite the opposite. She came and yelled at my mom in the middle of the dining room filled with guest, telling her “you do not tell my employees what to do, only I can do that!!.” We blankly looked at her. How can someone who runs a restaurant yell at the guest for wanting a new sandwich when their employees BARE hands were on their food?
Spend your money elsewhere. This place is a joke - disrespectful, unprofessional, and all in all, who knows how they...
Read moreWow! Where to begin? The young lady who took my order (even though told I had a longer order ie: more than my own) rushed me through the counter area. I sat down at the bench right in front of counter to wait. Decided to test their efficiency by placing an online order. It took a very reasonable time to recieve the first portion of my order. That's when it all unraveled. Cold soup at a table twice, same customer. Wrong sandwich on the next complaint. Cold soup guy gets proper temperature for soup and it's the wrong type of bread bowl. Patient woman waited in line, to be told by the same young lady who couldn't get rid of me fast enough, her order was in the to go display. Miss Impatient addresses the people who are behind Miss to-go with exasperated tones and tells them "No we are sold out of that bread. Choose a different kind." When asked what kind is available she refers them to the large sign behind her in a dismissive manner. Gentleman is pacing back and forth by front of counter. He has been there since before I ordered. I got my Second order about two (2) minutes after he got a soup and sandwich. There was one gentleman working who was hustling to get everybody taken care of. Kudos to this man. It seemed the rest of the staff was too busy or preoccupied to care about customer service and accuracy. I hope someone higher up the McAllister's management can look into the way this location is operating. The food was amazing, just really questionable...
