I have been dealing with Pickleman's on a 3 strike system lately and today they reached their third strike. Strike one my drink was forgotten on my order. This wasn't too big of a deal because the delivery driver went out of his way to go and get the drink from Walgreens. I found this nice but odd and it raised a red flag for me when it came to service from this venue. Strike two was a few weeks ago. I ordered online, as I normally do, and I waited over an hour before deciding to call and check on the status of my order. When I called I ended up speaking to an employee at first that was definitely not ecstatic that I was calling and denied the fact that I had even made an online order under my name. I pressed further and was finally given to a manager. The manager was able to look up my order with no problem and told me that my order was out for delivery then hung up. Later I get a call back from the manager saying that the delivery driver already tried to deliver my food and also tried to call my phone which I knew was a lie from the driver to save his own skin from the manager even though my call log had no missed calls and I was at my home and no one had arrived at my door prior. The manager apologized and then sent coupons with my remade order. The coupons I got were 2 dollars worth of Pickleman's bucks that have to be used on two seperate orders by two seperate people with 15 dollars or more if ordering online. The best part is that the coupons don't even work on their website when you meet the 15 dollar ordering specification so they are basically worthless. Strike three was today when I ordered in hopes of no problems. The food arrived at my door in a timely manner when, to my surprise, my drink was missing from my order. I didn't even bother telling the delivery driver because as soon as I handed her the receipt she turned and bolted unusually fast toward her vehicle before I realized my drink was missing and wasn't in the bag. Now after all of this I am pretty frustrated with Pickleman's and will probably never order from them again just because of the time and money that I have wasted hoping their broken system will work. Read moreI order frequently and always spend 50 dollars or more and usually have wonderful experiences however about a week ago i ordered delivery and they forgot my tomato bisque soup. I called immediately and told them that it was okay if they just brought it the next time I ordered. So they gave me a credit for an 8oz soup. I ordered food tonight on the app. I did not call it I’m even though I had a credit I could use. I just placed the order thinking I would just use the credit another time. I ordered a pizza, Sandwhich, Chicken Baja soup, and a salad oh and a pickle. The delivery driver pulls up and is at my door with a small bag and says “we will credit your account we are out of pickles.” First off it’s sad you even got to pay for a pickle when the name of the restaurants name is picklemans let alone they run out. Okay whatever.. I then say I hope you have my pizza I’m the car. The driver said what kind I said look at the receipt it will tell you. He goes to his car and then returns and says he’ll go back to the restaurant and get it. Okay I said “do that and go ahead and get me that soup i have on credit. He said okay. I come in to find that I got a tomato bisque soup instead of chicken Baja. No biggie I try not to b*tch all that much because it just puts me in a bad mood. The driver finally returns and hands me my pizza. He then proceeds to tell me that the GENERAL MANAGER says “sorry we can’t get you your soup we are way to busy for me to look up that credit” poor driver was humiliated to tell me that. SHAME ON YOU GENERAL MANAGER GUY! I was very polite to your driver but may not have been so nice to you of that response came from your mouth to me. I tried to call no answer. I get it. Your busy. Probably because of all of that word of mouth advertisement I do. That’s okay. Two bad experiences in a row.. I have a bad habit of spending fifty dollars plus a week at your place but not anymore. Read moreI ordered the hog pizza today hoping that it would be better then the last time i ordered. I specificly asked for NO TOMATO. After waiting a hour for delivery(busy hour) I finally get my pizza only to open it up and find tomatos on it. When I called up to ask this problem be corrected they argued with me for about 10 minutes saying there was no tomato on it when i could plainly see tomato on it. After arguing for ten minutes i was finally told i would be given a free pizza next time i ordered. but with two times in a row of ordering the same pizza and getting the SAME mistake I find myself less likely to order again. (Even though i seriously love the hog pizza)
EDIT: Ok i have more to add now I suggest anyone and everyone who uses their card to purchase to CHECK the price they are charged. I ordered $27.22 worth of food, left NO tip since the order wasn't correct in the first place. When i checked my account today Pickleman's had charged me 32.22SOmetime between me getting my food and the driver getting back to the store a 5.00 tip was added to my order. This is completely uncalled for and unprofessional. Not to mention ILLEGAL. I will not be ordered from this store again. I called up the store and did manage to get the 5.00 refunded since it was not me who added the tip but it completely ruined my experience.
