1 Nite Stand — Restaurant in St. Louis

Just walked in, trying out bars in the area. Lady introduced us at the door, we walked in saying we were good on a drink, just looking around. We wanted to sit, chill and then drink/eat. She followed us to the pool table, stood directly next to me (less than a foot) and as I was reading the sign that said you have to buy something to play pool, I noticed she was so close so we decided to leave. She locked the door behind us apparently when we came in, so she rushed around us to unlock it, then slammed it behind us and locked it again. If you didn’t want us in there or if there was a policy you can speak up and say that. Didn’t ask for our IDs and I’m glad she didn’t get that info. Weird weird weird weird. There were 5 old men in it max. Upon reading other reviews, it’s important to mention my partner is Black. Why did she LOCK us in the bar at 1030 when they close at 1 AM? I had a blast at 1 Nite Stand last weekend. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially Roger and Katherine, who made me feel very welcome and entertained. They were always cracking jokes, giving compliments, and joining in the karaoke. The drinks were reasonably priced and delicious, and the karaoke was so much fun. They have a huge selection of songs, from oldies to current hits, and the sound system is great. The crowd was lively and supportive, and everyone seemed to be having a good time.
