This place started as a Christmas themed pop-up bar, but has stayed open since. The bar itself is physically your typical south side bar but being an offshoot of serious craft cocktail bar, Planter's House, it offers similar libations in a more casual atmosphere. This means you can get a delicious shaken cocktail made with something like Japanese whiskey or an amaro, but being an old corner bar, they have playful tongue-in-cheek aspects like beer and shot specials with a bag of chips on the side, making it a good place to go whatever type of drinking mood you are in. For some reason that means dogs arenât allowed.
