5 out 8 of our entrées came out cold. We let Toni, our server know. Toni, was actually a quite lovely server & really nice & helpful. She informed George, the Genral Manager about our food. George attempted to reheat the food and a few of the reheated items still weren’t properly heated, He barely wanted to reheat the food again & started to be a little rude towards us. This was a celebratory event for a special group & some of the people being celebrated weren’t very happy with the attitude George was displayed. We ordered four desserts to make their experience worthwhile. The desserts came out perfectly & honestly was the only thing worth the $275 that we spent! I spoke with George & asked could two of the desserts be complimentary for the inconvenience, which would have taken off about $15. George was very rude while discussing while I politely asking him to reconsider but he did agree to comp one $7 desserts. I wasn’t happy with George’s response. I called Corporate while the girls were enjoying their desserts to let them know about our experience & specifically George’s attitude. I paid the bill $275 and left our Lovely Server the suggested tip. While we were heading to the exit. George, furious now because corporate was called approached us in a threatening, intimidating, & harassing way & said “By the way, I am the General Manager & I just spoke to Corporate & I’m not doing anything to accommodate you & you’re not welcome to come back here anymore”. He made us feel so uncomfortable with his furious approach, I didn’t even want to engage with him any longer & mentioned how I would dispute the charges with the merchant. George continued to harass us in a threatening way while we were exiting to get away. I called Corporate again & told them about his threatening aggressive behavior to a group of ladies. They had Rob, the Franchise Manager call & I expressed to him how uncomfortable George made us feel & expressed to Rob how if my husband was there I’m sure George wouldn’t have taken that abrasive threatening approach. I asked him what would happen to George and could George call & honestly just apologize for his rude intimidating harassing behavior. Rob went on to say he doesn’t like how I mentioned my husband. I said I just told you how your General Manager George Harassed a group of women & you’re concerned about me speaking about my husband. Neither Rob or George were apologetic in any type of way & they’re both giving Apple Bee’s a bad representation. The servers were great but George & Rob are VERY RUDE!!!! They said I would just have to dispute the charge with my merchant. When really honestly a genuine apology from George would’ve been suffice instead of Harassing &...
Read moreUPDATE: One year later from previous review on this same Applebees location.
Completely different service! I’m updating a one star review in 2023, to a five star review! We checked into our hotel room on July 23rd, for my procedure at Barnes Hospital the next day. We decided to give Applebees another try, and I’m so glad we did. The service was PERFECT, food was amazing, our table was clean, and the restaurant was clean. Only complaint…the super awesome gal that took care of us, told us about this desert that sounded really good. Well, she was right, it was DELICIOUS…and we were OVER STUFFED after nearly licking the plate clean. Definitely a completely different experience from the experience one year ago. Good save Applebees! Keep doing what you’re doing at this location!
Waited 30 min to get seated. Once We were seated, we were put at a dirty table, with multiple clean EMPTY tables all around. Then we waited another 10 minutes with no one acknowledging our presence. I finally got up to find a server…. I found one hidden just around the corner from us tending to personal business. Food was ok. Appetizers served without plates (had to hunt down the server for that). Definitely our worst experience at Applebee’s. $51 headache that’s not setting...
Read more….rarely has going to this location turned out well for me! I went home with a plate full of food because my waitress lied on me!
We were never given small plates when our appetizers came out and she never wrote down our order on a notepad. I watched as my party’s entrees came out from the kitchen, but mine never came. She feigned confusion as to why I didn’t have my food, and after “checking” to see why it hadn’t arrived, she came back to ask what I ordered. Seems like she forgot to put my food in! By the time my order came out, everyone at my table had finished eating, so we asked for the manager. The manager told us that our waitress said she never put my food in because I was “indecisive” about what I wanted to order…which was a whole lie because I told her exactly what I wanted! I knew what I was going to eat before even arriving at the restaurant, so hearing this was a huge slap in the face. Why not just say that you forgot to put my order in? Lying on the customer is never okay. The manager did take my food off the receipt which was nice, but I was ridiculously upset after this.
She also charged us for our refills which was unheard of! I won’t be back!!!!!!
