Hi I hope review gets to the person it needs to get to. First I want to start off saying I been coming to Frazers every since Richard was the waiter and jennifer correa was the general manager. And back then Frazers was one the best restaurants in saint louis,mo when it came to customer service , food , and atmosphere Richard and jennifer was 2 of the best who ran Frazers and kind of put the restaurants on the saint louis map. I have noticed since coming there since there departure the place has been going down ,down, down, down, and down. due to mainly customer service. Im writing this review because I was there on 10/01/2025 to celebrate my wife 35th birthday. I made my reservation at 7pm. So let me tell you I called Frazers the day before to ask what was the menu as far as pasta , and quote they told me its a special and the lady who answers the phone told me she will ask if they or not and I was fine with that. So she never called back I had to call her to find out was it ok to do. When we eventually talked she said the chef said it was ok to do. I came in at my reservation time the guy named Blain was my waiter tall white guy with short black like the Beatles, this was fake he was nice/nasty , if you know what I mean, but I told him that I called in ahead and said the chef said it was ok to make chicken n shrimp linguine w/ the white wine sauce he acted as if he knew what I was talking about, but when we got our meal I noticed it was prepared differently then in the past and figured well maybe they changed how they make it and I ask the waiter about and he right out told me this is how its made , it had this brown sauce , sausage in it, it was very ,very spicy, and other stuff that I never noticed chicken n shrimp linguine w/white wine sauce will have, I ate it enough to know what its like. So after complaining this was to spicy for my wife this other guy came out from the back this was to spicy and this doesnt seem like chicken n shrimp, so I explain to him what we ask for and what they gave us is wrong, so they took took my wife pasta back and brought us semi how its suppose to be made the only problem was my wife ask NOT to add mushrooms because shes allergic to it and what happen they put mushrooms in it . HER TOUGUE STARTED TINGLY SHE STARTED INCHING TO A POINT WE HAD TO LEAVE AND SHE DIDNT FINISH HER MEAL BECAUSE OF THAT. I tried to explain to our waiter the issue and literally he didnt seem not to care he said I quote ' I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS I CANT HELP YOU IF THE FOOD WASNT PREPARED RIGHT " So when I got the bill it said I was eating CAJUN SHRIMP LINGUINE !!!!! I DIDNT ORDER THAT !!! I DIDNT CALL THAT IN!!! THEY TOTALLY HAD ME THINKING I WAS EATING I WAS CHICKEN N SHRIMP LINGUINE NEVER EVER TOLD ME THIS WAS CAJUN STRIMP LINGUINE , YES I WAS DECEIVED THINKING I WAS PAYING FOR SOMETHING I NEVER ORDERED. I ATE IT BECAUSE I DIDNT WANT TO WAIT ANOTHER 45 MIN FOR A MEAL. NO ONE DIDNT CARE !!! I TOOK MY FUSTRATION TO THE BAR PEOPLE AND THEY DIDNT CARE!!!!! Both my wife and I are black american I dont know if that makes a difference are not , but we definitely didnt get the service like the other people that was there the waiter and waitresses and waiter where catering to other people like they kings and queens , but when it came to us we weird stares, smart sarcastic short comments from our waiter who seems not to care about the situation. In closing I also mentioned it was my wife birthday NOT ONE PERSON ON YOUR STAFF EVEN CONSIDERED THAT !!! THANK YOU FRAZERS FOR BEING ST LOUIS WORST RESTAURANT IN ST.LOUIS...
Read moreWell it's 2025 and I swear as a 48 year old black man, living in a city like St. Louis, MO I would never think that Racism is still so prominent. Being a business owner and servicing all types and colors of people I never would have thought I would and my family would have to deal with it. But it sucks that the owner of Frazers. MR.FRAZER himself would be the one to try and speak to me like I'm a little kid playing on his white only lawn. The atmosphere of the place was awesome. Nice n cozy, I was kinda excited, but then My waiter showed up and he was super nervous and rushy becuz he was serving 13 Black People. I feel like if you have a policy that states you only serve 7 people to a party. Then tell all your employees so they can all be on the same page. We were told 10 people to a party, we have 13 people so we made 2 reservations. When speaking to the owner he kept saying we figured out a way to get around their policy. No sir your hostess should have said no we can only do 1 reservation, especially after mom and daughter with the same last name said it's a birthday party, and we are all together. After saying oh that's fine it's no problem, there shouldn't have been any issues. So after we all get there and we are ready to order, that's when I noticed our waiter was very antsy and rushy. I told him to just relax and take his time and was hoping he was going to be ok. I figured I would go speak to the manager and ask for an addition waiter to help him and make him a little more comfortable. But Mr. Frazer, took offense to this and said to me in a very Snotty tone, I can't just produce a new waiter just for you. He then stated to me that he has accommodated me and my people enough and the only thing we will be getting is good food. Problem is the food was just OK. I own 2 businesses in this city. It my Wife's 50th and we have been to a different restaurant since Thursday, and today is Saturday we are on out 3rd night out with Mothers Day tomorrow. We spend good damn money in this city, and to mishandled and treated like we are lower class citizens is crazy. I promise as a Black Man that does a lot for the communities I'm in, I will never ever eat at a place like this again. It's crazy that South City is a melting pot of races of people. But Black people still don't matter. BLACK PEOPLE SHOULD STAY FAR AWAY FROM...
Read moreI called this restaurant to make a reservation after the online platform directed me too. The younger gentleman that I spoke to told me that I needed to get there at 5-515 when they open to get our table for a birthday dinner at 6. Upon arrival, I told the lady at the hostess stand that we had a party for 18. She responded "18" with large eyes, and told me to wait while she went to speak to a gentleman. They both came back and long story short, refused to take our party. I, in a panic, explained that I had called before having 16 other individuals in route from Illinois, as my husband was still parking the car. They said it must have been their newer server, and that they would talk to him. I then asked for 3 tables of 6 spread out, and was told they had too many reservations to accommodate that, meanwhile, I literally watched them seating table after table without reservations as that was the first question asked when you walk in. There was no empathy, no trying to work with us. Honestly, just plain rude. I had to redirect our party of 18 to another restaurant where we ordered drinks and apps at the bar. After a 2 hour wait we were seated. I could say it ruined our night, but with the initial experience just walking through the door, I'm glad we didn't eat there. Our party spent almost $2500.00 at the restaurant we went to. (We drink, order apps, eat) our server was tipped over $300.00, and we were at least able to enjoy the other place. We like to explore and try new places. I was excited to try this place, but won't be back. It would have been different if they handled it differently, even if we still had to find...
