Read whole post please: I love LC. Have been eating there since I could drive. Over 40 years. I was happy when this one was built. Typically LC Roast Beef is the bomb and makes Arby’s look like rubber. Tonight the wife and I went. The meal was two meals and I got an extra king beef. It was $36. That is what it is. The service was very good. The staff was friendly and we got our food fast. The place was basically pretty clean. The ketchup dispenser was a mess but it was not working right. Not a big deal. My issue was the food itself tonight. I ordered two king beefs. There is a picture of what they show. I know you never get what is in the picture, but at LC you usually get a nice thick Sammy. Look at the picture of what I received. That was roast beef mush with the amount of “meat” I would expect on a regular sandwich. Trust me I have ordered my fair share and know what I should have gotten. The buns did not have sesame seeds as they usually do. I think they bought hamburger buns from the grocery store. The bun was wet and soggy. Pretty gross. Then when I was eating the fries they were the same. I did not feel like saying anything would help or change anything. I also don’t like complaining because I am not a freeloader looking for some discount. Be aware at this location. You may not be getting what you pay for. I will try another location in the next few weeks and see if it is an LC thing and they are heading the way of Steak N Shake or is it just the one by my house. I am hopeful they are not going backwards because I really like the old school LC.

I always feel bad leaving a less then stellar review but on multiple occasions this place has been not the best experience. I have been multiple times now and the food is always good enough, but it always takes a minute or two for someone to even come up to the register to take an order (it might be easier to just order online if I ever go again). When we came in it took a few minutes for someone to come to the register and there was an employee with their head down in the dining area- understanding they may have been on break I didn't think of anything till they took a drive through order on a headset from the dining area- Once we got our order taken we got the food pretty quickly. Overall I know that this location used to have a lot better service and experience which is to bad because I grew up on lions choice as a kid and loved it- but the food was good the experience just left more to be desired. I would recommend maybe just having screens people can order on if their staff is not going to be available to take orders- this may save money on staffing and make the experience better for customers.

This location has the worst customer service! One of the male workers was incredibly rude. We asked for cheese sauce and ketchup. The female cashier brought tons of ketchup. We said we didn't need that many. Her answer? "Really?!?" No cheese sauce. I had to walk back to the cashier and ask for the cheese. The male worker said it was $87.00. The cashier said the amount on the sandwich was right and more cheese was $.87. (The smidge of cheese on our sandwich paper was pretty much all we got.) When I went back up to get the mini vanilla cone for the kids meal I had paid for earlier, the male worker was rude again. Our ticket says "Take Out" but we ate inside. I gave 2 stars because the meat was okay. The fries were hard and tasted old. The Diet Coke had the wrong ratio and was substantially lighter in color to the regular Coke. The roast beef tasted okay though even with paying for extra meat, it was still skimpy and not at all like the advertised product.

The experience i had here today was probably to remind me that stopping for fast food is not a great idea, but it was so over the top rude I had to warn others. I went through the drive thru with my kids after school and was greeted with "do you know what you want?". I asked for "just a quick second to decide" to which I got a "fine". After maybe a minute I said "I think we're finally ready if you are". No response. Waited a sec, nothing "hello?", no response, wait a sec, "hello?". Then through the speaker comes, "CAN YOU GIVE ME A SECOND?!?!" . Jump forward, no one at the window for a loooonnngg time, I should have driven away but I have worked in the service industry for a long time and didn't want anyone to get in trouble so we waited... then our order comes through the window with no words- I say "thank you" every time she hands me something, I get no response or words of any kind. I did ask for a side of horseradish and was shoved like 40 packets. Oh and our order was also wrong- 2 kids meals and a classic combo ordered, but I didn't even go back, she was clearly not having a great day or personally despised me and I was not feeling like dealing with the negativity again... I can't imagine everyone's experience will mirror my own, but maybe hit another...
