Black Pearl Bubble Tea (Stamford) — Restaurant in Stamford

This is absolutely unacceptable! My family and I have been coming here weekly and every visit was pleasant. The staff take their time to get to know each customer and make the drinks perfectly. Always amazing service and high quality drinks. We first found out about this brand at the Norwalk location and found it way better than Whale Tea because of the friendly staff and quick service. It's saddening to hear that the owners of the company would mistreat their staff and retaliate by firing their manager for not tolerating the violation of health codes. I wish the best of luck to the staff(current and past). I usually go to Whale Tea in Stamford, but the other day I stopped by the mall and stumbled across Black Pearl—and wow! The place was super clean and beautifully designed, and the employee working (I believe his name was Chaz) was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, they didn’t have taro at that location, but Chaz let me know that the SoNo location carries it. He also recommended a couple of other drinks, and let me just say the tropical paradise ? I am a bubble tea lover and have had my share of bubble tea (probably too much lol) in my life. I was so happy when Whale Tea came to Stamford, and now Black Pearl!? I'm absolutely thrilled. I haven't been to the Norwalk location so this is my first time trying Black Pearl. I got my go-to order: original flavored bubble tea with reduced sugar and light ice.
