AMC Landmark 8 — Local services in Stamford

Thanks Dannel Malloy..... This theater is like your Governorship...extremely shy, it must be led by someone like him which leads to poor moral with staff, just like most other state workers during the Malloy years, just rude, and don't want to work. Disappointing snack bar, with its lack of options and soggy popcorn to the $5 bottle of warm water. Theatre was small, dirty, and out dated. Screen size was so small I should have just watched Netflix on my laptop, and as for sound system, my earbuds in the same lap top offer better top end sound and bass. If the Landmark 9 was Golfing, it would be in the lead with the lowest score. Maybe I'm just spoiled and have been to literally any other movie theater, but this seemed to be an extra special kinda shy, that I am just not used to this level of awefulness, yes, awefulness, I made up a new word to describe this.. Even if you have no TV at home, a car in the driveway, shoes on your feet or money in your pockets, Please...please choose any other theater. Again, a special thank you to Gov. Malloy, for I don't blame the theater, the Stamford Mall, or Stamford City...but I blame it on the late Mayor of Stamford, for just like the way he ran this once great city full steam into the ground, he's now giving our state the same treatment this once good...

Went to the movies, show before the last show which was an hour after my movie They said they have no hot food and would teven serve popcorn. They said they have nothin no food for the movie and attending guest who were in an adjacent theater time was 8:50pm. If the last movie is 9:50 why wouldn't you have anything for guest. When they arrive. It was a great disappointment. I would have never come to movies without concessions available for myself or friends movies. The ticket desk would not give us physical tickets when we checked in and upon request. There is also a creepy security guard that kept harassing the girls throughout the night. He waited by the door inside the theater and kept waiting for one of them to walk pass to him and talk to them. Walking uuncomfortably close by them at one point he slide his hand down the underside of the railing where the girls were sitting (were their behinds were) while waiting for us as we gathered our things to leave. Corperate will be notified. Landmark is extremely lacking! Environment becoming very much low grade, unsafe, sketchy. The audio is extremly loud you need ear buds, im sure it's above the 85 decible limit. Needless to say we will never return to the abomination of an establishment again....

Unfortunately I had quite a bad experience at this theatre the last time I went. We went to see Toy Story 4 and there were quite a few moments in the movie where the audio cut out so I missed a good portion of what was happening in the movie. We left early but they refused to give us a refund only offered us tickets for a future movie.

On top of that, some guy who worked at the theatre made a comment to us about how we brought in food from outside even though 1. No one said anything when we entered the theatre and 2. We didn’t open the food boxes, we were just holding them from our dinner right before the movie. Regardless the guy made a few comments and then proceeded to follow us downstairs and make a few more comments about it. I felt this was very rude, especially after we wasted over an hour seeing a movie that we will now have to sit through again because of the poor audio quality.

There was also a lot of construction happening around the theatre. It seemed like half the theatre had AC and half the theatre had no AC. I recommend going to a different theatre until they have made some drastic...
