I never leave reviews. But seeing the Stamford mall so dead today has upset me, and I now know why teenagers and young adults are staying away. One employee and a lady dressed in all black who I assume to be the manager or owner stopped me and my friend from riding one of those animal rides in the most rude way possible. I figured it would be fun riding it around the mall and everything was fine until we took the elevator with them to the second floor in front of their store (if I thought we were doing something wrong I wouldn’t do it in front of them). I don’t know if the timer was done or if we weren’t allowed to be on the second floor. There were no instructions, warnings, or signs and we just went through the entire mall with these rides with no problem and we see these animal rides all the way at the food court. All of a sudden these two stop us, yelling at us and immediately say “you’re banned from ever using these again”. This kind of power trip is what stops customers from having a little bit of fun and wanting to spend money on any store in this half shut down mall. Imagine having a power trip over some kids being able to purchase a $10 animal ride which noone ever buys. It’s all about rules and money with these stores and people my age stay far away from the mall because of people who ruin it like this. The mall needs a lot of work to improve to get customers back in, but having stuck up owners and employees like these on their power trip is far from one of them. It’s sad seeing stores close down every other month. I hope they get new management or fix their attitude here. Needless to say, the 10 minute ride on this wasn’t worth the mindless scolding. I never in the past decade have even had a negative experience at the mall until I ran into the people in charge of this store. Wouldn’t recommend riding the animal rides from this store. A mall is about HAVING FUN. These people think they’re asset protection for a jewelry store. They’ve just pushed away about 20 customers I know that were all willing to spend money on those animal rides. Decently smart idea to bring those around, I even thought I’d start coming more often for the arcade and the rides. Not anymore. Thanks for ruining the mall for me. Hope they...
Read moreAbsolutely love Angel Land! I’ve been bringing my daughter here every day after school for over a year now, and she still looks forward to it just as much as she did on day one. There’s so much for her to do — from play areas to fun activities — it never gets old for her!
One of the highlights has been the animal rides, which she absolutely adores. We even hosted her birthday party here, and it was such a wonderful experience. Mia, who hosted the party, did an incredible job and made the whole event smooth and special.
The daily staff — Alisha, Eveline, Julia, Maria, Milly and Tom — are always so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They really go the extra mile to make both kids and parents feel comfortable and cared for. It’s rare to find a place that feels this safe, fun, and full of heart.
Can’t recommend Angel...
Read moreIt’s a wonderful place to get the shimmies out for kids especially if you want to tire them out, I brought my toddlers on Wednesday in the afternoon and they had a blast I’m giving it a two star because of the employees, I stood there with my children for a good five minutes while one employee was on her phone and the other one was sitting on a bench, and when one of the employees took care of me she was snarky and giving the other employee looks, I felt very uncomfortable because of this, then I was unaware that I had to keep my receipt to be let out so I had to let one of them open the doors for me they basically stood there dumbfounded before opening the doors. Besides that weird encounter i definitely would recommend bringing...
