I recently had the pleasure of dining at Divina Restaurant, and while the food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented – what truly made the experience unforgettable was the exceptional service, especially from Yineth.
From the moment we arrived, Yineth greeted us with such genuine warmth and attentiveness that we immediately felt welcome. She has that rare ability to make you feel like a valued guest rather than just another table. Throughout the evening, she was attentive without being intrusive, always anticipating what we needed before we had to ask.
Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and her recommendations were spot-on. But more than that, Yineth radiates kindness and joy in what she does. It’s clear she cares deeply about creating a great experience for every guest, and that energy truly elevated our night.
The ambiance at Divina is cozy and elegant, and the kitchen absolutely delivers – but I’ll be honest: it’s Yineth’s care and charm that will bring me back. In a world where good service can sometimes feel like an afterthought, she reminds you what hospitality is supposed to feel like.
Highly recommended – and if you go, ask for Yineth. You...

Menu printed on previously used associate schedule paper. Roughly 7 entrees and 8 sides. No omelets, no pancakes, no waffles, no oatmeal, no cereals, no eggs benedicts, etc. Menu reads: Fresh Juices- asked about Orange- server said sorry no it is bottled. So I asked about Grapefruit- he said they don't carry it anymore. I chose the Scrambled Eggs sandwich- ignored the bread and only ate the eggs & bacon. I asked about the breakfast sausage- he said they are links, not spicy. He delivered low taste sausage patties. It occurred to me that you get more breakfast items on a lower end hotel's complimentary Continental breakfast bars! Oh, and the only reason we had to choose this restaurant- is because it was 9:30am and all of the other Summer Street area restaurants in downtown Stamford don't open until 11am or 12noon...
Read moreThis is a situation where one aspect of the experience dragged down the overall rating. The food is good (nothing amazing and portions are ok - could be a little more generous). The waiter should not be in the hospitality business. Not a kind word, not a smile, just giving the vibe that the last place he wanted to be was at Divina. Walked by our table multiple times and never cleared glasses that were empty, asked how thing are and had to ask if we wanted a dessert menu (just give it to us - amazing how many restaurants miss the opportunity to sell desserts because they ask if one wants a menu). I do want to point out that the busboy and the woman who brought our dishes were particularly kind, helpful and smiling. They saved the review from being a 3. One last quibble - the manager walks around and the only thing we saw him do was to straighten the bar stools. How about engaging with your guests and noticing things on the table that...
