Absolutely the best tacos I’ve ever had — hands down. If you’re in Stamford and craving truly authentic Mexican cuisine, this taqueria is the spot. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm, welcoming service that makes you feel like family. But it’s what’s happening in the kitchen that really sets this place apart.

The lengua tacos are out of this world — tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell La Jefa is in the kitchen, bringing generations of flavor and technique to every bite. And the pollo? Juicy, smoky, and packed with that magic that’s so hard to find outside of Mexico. Every tortilla is fresh and 2 per taco ( the right way) every garnish crisp and vibrant — it’s the kind of meal that makes you stop mid-bite just to say, “Wow.”

Junior was a very caring, sweet, and knowledgeable person of the waitstaff. I informed him of my serious food allergies and he made sure my dish was prepared accordingly. He made us wonderful drinks that were delectable, sweet, and STRONG just like how we like it. He is very personable and had excellent customer service skills. Went here with some friends and we really liked it. The food was legit everything tasted fresh and had great flavor. I got the al pastor tacos and a quesadilla, and both were really good. Drinks were nice too, especially the passion fruit margarita. Would totally get that again. The place has a cool vibe, not too loud, just the right spot to hang out and eat well.
