me and my aunt went to harry's place in Stanton. We were greeted when we walked in. We usually go thru the drive thru, but my aunt wanted to go in. My aunt has never been to Harry's Place, so this would be her first time . The cashier asked if we were ready to order. I stated to her it would be just a minute. As im reading the menu to my aunt ( because she's never been there ) the young girl asked us again are we ready. I told her no we werent. ( we were not standing at the counter ( we were off to the side ). as i continue to finishing telling my aunt what was on the menu. A older lady started to ask us if we ready. i explain to her that my aunt has never been here and she was still trying to figure out what she wanted to order. ( she asked us 2 more times after that) i told my aunt she need to hurry up and order before they ask us again for the 6 time. We walked to the counter and saw the older lady and the younger lady making a shake with bananas, my aunt says, that looks good. as we continue to watch them make the shake, the young girl take something out of the trash. i look at my aunt and asked her did she see that and she says yes. We notices that the 2 cashiers doesnt have any gloves or hair nets on. the young girl see us and walks up to the register and asked if we were ready. i order the bbq chicken sandwich plain combo and my aunt orders the chicken club burger combo with onion rings, with a side of thousand island for her onion rings. We receive her order and leave. We get back home and look inside the bag ( we have pictures and videos ) if the manager or owner would like to look at it. the cook throw the fries and onion rings on top of the burgers. i dont eat onions ( why would they mix it up like that ) my aunt said the onion rings were old and hard and my fries were greasey. my bbq chicken had so much bbq sauce, that my bread was wet. ( i hope you are able to review the camera's

I had high hopes for Harry’s Café, but unfortunately, the experience was a letdown from start to finish.
To their credit, the soup and salad arrived on time — if you can even call them that. The "salad" was nothing more than an entire bag of prepackaged mix dumped on a plate, untouched and unseasoned. The soup tasted straight from a can, lacking any depth, texture, or freshness. It felt like filler, not an appetizer.
After waiting over 20 minutes for the main course, I was served a plate that confirmed my doubts. The grilled salmon was overcooked, oily, and unpleasantly gummy, with a texture that bordered on inedible. It was dry inside, poorly seasoned, and clearly mishandled.
The mashed potatoes were equally disappointing — gummy, thick, and bland, accompanied by thin, store-bought-tasting gravy. The onion rings were basic and forgettable, and the toast seemed like a last-minute addition, dry and disconnected from the rest of the plate.
The entire meal felt like a patchwork of low-effort components, with no culinary care or quality behind it.
I won’t be returning to Harry’s Café, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a thoughtful or...
Read moreWe really enjoyed our visit to Harry's. We both had their popular Hamburger (large and tasty) with Onion Rings (done right); the atmosphere was very nice, friendly (very) and also clean. The owner (Andreas) introduced himself (that is very smart) and he even spent some time with us discussing his restaurant and other info.
The workers are very nice; they say hello with a smile and ask repeatedly if you would like your coffee refreshed or if you would like anything else. I think that explains why Harry's is so popular. Also, the food is fresh, cooked the way you want it and is served in generous portions.
I returned and had breakfast. Again I was very pleased. The breakfast was affordable and tasty. Large portion of potatoes, a third egg, toast, 2 sausage links and coffee for less than $7. Better breakfast than many "finer" restaurants serve.
The waitress remembered me and was very nice so that added to making my visit a good experience. A lot of restaurants could learn from observing the spirit of Harry's Cafe.
