I've been a good customer of Haven since moving to California in 2021, and up until now, Iâve always had great experiences. Unfortunately, that changed today, 04/20/2025.
I purchased a product at the Stanton location that turned out to be defective. Once I got home, opened the product, and it wasnât working. I called the store. The woman I spoke to was helpful and assured me that if I brought the item back, the manager would exchange it with no issue.
However, when I returned to the store, the service I received was incredibly disappointing. After re-checking in, I waited about 15 minutes before approaching an employeeâwho I later found out was the manager. I politely asked if she could assist me, but she responded rudely, telling me there was a line and to wait. I tried to explain that I had already spoken to someone over the phone, but she abruptly cut me off and said, âYou called for a returnâwait, we are busy.â
When I asked another staff member if I could speak with the manager, she interrupted me and said, âI was there, and she is the manager,â referring to the woman I had just spoken with. I asked if she could call the manager over again, and she said, âNo, you can do that, yo can go and find herâsheâs walking around somewhere.â I was stunned by how dismissive both employees were.
Thankfully, a third employee approached me, sincerely apologized for how I was treated, and professionally helped resolve the issue. Her kindness and professionalism were the only positive part of this experience.
I asked to the other staff member previously mentioned for her and the managerâs names, so I could report the incident, I was denied that information. I also asked for the corporate contact information, and that too was refused.
Itâs extremely disappointing to be treated this way, especially after being a customer for years. I hope Haven addresses this situation and re-evaluates how their management and front desk staff handle...

I spent decades in a religious cult that drilled into my mind that "worldly" people--essentially, anyone not in the cult--were evil and to be avoided. This belief led me to label others as "drug users" without ever truly understanding their choices or lives. However, my experiences with my father, who has used gummies in the past to help with his Alzheimer's, have shown me how wrong my previous views were.
Today, we purchased Wyld gummies from this establishment at a very reasonable price, and with a sale to boot. We were assisted by a young man named Dice, whose knowledge and helpfulness were exceptional. His assistance was so valuable that we decided to try another brand as well, and we're excited to see how it helps my dad.
The experience didn't end there. Once we returned home, I received a call from the facility letting me know I had left my purse behind, which contained all of my credit cards and driver's license. The honesty and care they showed went far beyond what I expected. These kind, knowledgeable, and thoughtful people didn't just return a wallet--they gave me the courage to focus on seeing the good in everyone, especially those who are often misunderstood or marginalized for their use of cannabis.

   Read moreThere are a few dispensaries in the immediate vicinity of Haven, one of them (which will remain nameless), I frequent often.
Iâm pretty much over rude (especially female) bud-tenders that think they can be pushy and impatient and who are just trying to get to the end of the transaction to get their EXPECTED tip and that get away with providing poor customer service just because they think they theyâre cute(whether they are or NOT lol).
However, my FTP experience with Graciela was absolutely wonderful! She was knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming, and most importantly she was COURTEOUS!
She took the time to answer questions and to make sure that her customer left her store happy and satisfied with their experience.
Iâm a service provider as well and as such, I believe that rather than assuming or expecting tips, they should be EARNED based on the quality of the service being provided. And in an industry with so much competition ( there are 3 dispensaries within 3 blocks at this location), associates and their respective dispensaries should take greater care with the service they give and with their hiring practices respectively, to ensure repeat business. SO HEREâS A BIG SHOUT OUT TO GRACIELA and to HAVEN for doing just that!!!â¤ď¸
