The Pit House — Restaurant in Stanton

We stayed in RRG for 4 days and tried multiple restaurants. The BBQ from Thatcher’s at the Pit House was absolutely the best restaurant in the area!! We ate there yesterday afternoon. It’s the only restaurant we went to that I couldn’t stop eating even though I was full. Everything we had was amazing! We had the loaded potato, brisket, burnt ends, pulled chicken, pulled pork, green beans, Mac and cheese, and cornbread. All the BBQ sauces were absolutely amazing!! The energy at this music venue is top of the line. We grabbed dinner at Thatcher BBQ next door (service was super friendly and food was a standout) and then saw The Local Honeys. We were right up at the front, but it would be worth it to explore a bit to figure out the best place to stand (where we were, the amps were really loud.)
