Stray Cat Chimmi Shack — Restaurant in Star City

I had heard lots of good chatter and I'm thrilled that my wife and I finally had a chance to try out the Stray Cat Chimmi Shack. The trailer is pulled up right next to the building. When you want to order food someone inside the building will take your order and you can pay for your food then. We ate outside in the outdoor space that has been setup. Its a great space there are a variety of chairs, tables, and umbrellas providing shade. There's also some pretty good music playing in the outdoor seating area. The food here is just fantastic. To start with my wife and I split an order of Cajun Fries. Delicious with just the right type of kick. Next time I think I want to try the Old Bay fries. I ordered the Stray Cat and my wife ordered the Beef Boy. The Stray Cat was great with plenty of melted cheese piled on top of the shredded chicken. The fried burrito shell had just the right level of crunch. My wife and I traded dishes halfway through so I got to try the Beef Boy as well. Again a great shell/tortilla and plenty of melty cheese. The beef feeling had great flavor very similar to what you would find in a taco. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other menu items. We stopped by Stray Cat Chimmi Shack for the first time today, and it was such a great experience. A cozy little spot with a laid-back vibe. Owner seemed incredibly friendly and welcoming as he walked us through the menu. The food did not disappoint. The chimichangas and fresh hand-cut fries were fantastic: perfectly crispy and delicious. My wife and I stopped here on our Honeymoon tour around West Virginia for brunch. Saw it on Google maps while we were planning the trip and luckily while we were leaving Morgantown, they were open. We ate inside. There's limited seating inside (some seating outside), but we were the only people there when we showed up. I ordered the Tijuana, she ordered the Philly which was a special that day.
