Stopped here on a road trip. Maybe I’m spoiled in Kentucky... the parking is far so I had no idea where to walk to and had to ask a runner. The area is entirely mud and rock. Mindy you, I’m visiting in January so I expect a little mid. This, however, is a mid pit. No grass is grown in here and the rocks are extremely dangerous for my rambunctious German shepherds who could easily misstep and hurt a limb. I truly don’t think I’m being dramatic. Morgantown needs to do better with their parks.

Nice little neighborhood park with some trails, streams and, of course, a dog park. Lot of bird watching opportunities abound. Please park in direction of traffic when parking along the road. Occasionally law enforcement drives by and tickets cars parked against the flow of traffic. Also, please don't block the access gate, it is needed for emergency and service vehicles.

It's not super obvious to get to the dog park from the road, but it's in a great neighborhood and it's a nice dog park. We thought it'd be muddy, but it's more rocky. Need to visit more often!

It's definitely catered more toward people with larger breeds. It is quite a distance away from everything else, you have to boulder across a creek multiple times along the path, and the small dog section is so much smaller than the large dog section (no way, small section for small dogs, but come on... small dogs want to feel free to run, too). It's not well-tended (old toys and trash littered the area), and I feel like there should be a visual divider between the two sections because some small dogs like mine don't like strange big dogs chasing after them behind a fence. Overall very...

A great large wooded fenced in area for dogs to run, play, romp in large puddles, and sniff around. Friendly dogs and friendly people. We'll definitely be back.

If you park by the tennis courts, walk across the bridge, past the play ground, and follow the stone path to the dog park. Wear clothes you don't mind getting muddy, as some of the more friendly and excited dogs may rub up against you after playing in the water...
