Pita Pit — Restaurant in Starkville

The food is a little pricey, but it tastes pretty good. My 3 stars is because they don't seem to care about the requested delivery times. For instance, if you get to eat at 1:30pm, it let's you request that your food be delivered at 1:30pm. However, they do not adhere to that whatsoever. For instance, I ordered and requested it be delivered at 12:45pm for dietary reasons, and they delivered it at 11:15am. What if I had not been at home, considering I already had paid with my card? I understand that you want to be fast, but don't let us pick delivery times that you don't use. Also, I've ordered a few times from this place, and each time my was pita delivered, it was not warm. My team is here visiting from out of town for a competition at Mississippi state. We went to Pita Pit for lunch, had a large order for 11 people. Kristen was working the counter by herself, she took all of our orders, then once finished she double checked every Pita was made and labeled correctly. She then went above and beyond and sperated them into multiple bags with the continents written on the outside of the bag to help us distribute the Pitas to our team. We like to try new places that are not in our town. We will remember this experience as Kristen was friendly and actively engaging in conversation about our trip here. Great service and great food! Our nurse practitioner ordered a huge caesar salad today for our office for lunch. Spent $60 with tax and delivery charge. Only for it to arrive and be only lettuce, tomatoes and onion (which is NOT a caesar salad) and only two very small containers of a dressing. She called wanting to speak to the manager and had to leave a message. The manager NEVER called her back. Guess he doesn't want our business anymore.
