Chick 2 — Restaurant in State College

Have been supporting this place since it opened. Been visiting here 3-4 times a week and provide feedback on new products. Good food in low price. Giving low rating for the following reasons: When I ordered chicken over rice and chicken sandwich. The sandwich takes about 6-7 mins to make and chicken over rice takes 30 seconds. They will prepare the chicken over rice first then go fried the chicken. So the chicken over rice has been sitting there for 7 mins. The vegetable got soggy and rice and chicken got cold. This happens when you dine in and take out. No employee seems to care. Another reason is that the restaurant is very unorganized when there were multiple orders. The owner and two other staffs work on their own. The owner made mistakes on an order for a table. They ordered 5 min later than I did but receive food first. 3-5 mins later, that table returned their extra chicken sandwich. I have been waiting for my chicken sandwich for 15+ mins, which is unusual. At this point, there were 3 fresh made sandwich. But the owner pretended the returned food was fresh made and just gave it to me without asking me if I am ok with taking returned food. Very disappointing on the owner's attitude for treating old customers. Really bad practice. Even McDonald's has better practice about returned food. ...

We ordered the No.2 and No3. combos. Overall, this restaurant was super disappointing. The chicken was not crispy brown, it was squeaky and white on the outside. On the inside it was pink. Like straight pink. They might use dark meat because it tasted a little off - not really fresh. I ate half before I couldn't stomach it anymore. And the side of fries was more like a suggestion - we each got maybe 6 waffle fries and a few tiny pieces of broken waffle fries. The only good thing about this meal was the bun. If you want good, fresh, non-sketchy chicken and more than 6 waffle fries, go to Chick-fil-A or Wings Over.

Maybe my delivery order was the last one last night. But the chicken wings were no near any of the photos Ike shown in the review. Missing one sauce (received two) and chicken on rice was, well, literally chicken sauce! Lol!! A few lettuce pieces in one corner w/ rice at the bottom, chicken on top and very little white sauce, which was barely there. I’m a chicken lover, so gave 2 stars considering it was a late night order, but it would’ve be maybe 1 stars if it was a day tine order. I love chickens and there are only couple of other true chicken places in State College, so maybe I will try again...
