What does this look like to you? At first, it may look like meat, but if you look closely, those things popping out of the chicken wing are all feathers. I called the restaurant to ask about the issue and a man who was supposedly the manager told me that it was okay to eat it in a rude tone, as if I was really weird. I wish he could have seen the wing himself! I thought maybe I was the picky one so I sent the photo of the wings to some friends. They all said that it looked disgusting, so clearly I'm not the weird one here. The manager told me that they could remake our order, but I'm not in the mood to eat those after looking at this mess, so I went back to the restaurant to get a refund.
When I went back, there was a lady there and I asked for her manager, and she claimed she was the manager. I knew something was off, but I still went with the flow and asked for my refund. I asked for an explanation but all she said was that it came like that from the chicken processing company, meaning it wasn't their fault. She got on the phone with someone to cancel my credit card transaction, and it took about ten minutes. Dissatisfied with their service failure recovery system, I asked, "Is this how you always handle customer complaints?" and she kept saying she didn't understand, rolled her eyes, and started laughing. Maybe my accent got in the way, but this is definitely not how I should've been treated.
I completely understand that all of us may make mistakes but I believe that when you make mistakes, you should say I am sorry first. They didn't do so until I asked them to, and in a disrespectful manner too.
As a marketing professor teaching Services Marketing, I know this is not how a service company should handle a customer complaint. According to Service Recovery Paradox, managing customer complaint effectively first time can increase customer loyalty and satisfaction ironically but this is obviously not what happened with my experience at Buffalo Wild Wings today. Second time service failure will have no solution, which makes customers switch to other company, which is what I will...
Read moreThis is the second time I've been here. After the first time, I swore that I'd never come back. I'd gotten a hamburger, which seemed to be the frozen pattie kind. Awful. Tonight I had to come because of a birthday celebration. No choice. I thought that maybe I had made a mistake to order a hamburger in a chicken place, so I ordered a chicken sandwich. The chicken was fried hard as a rock and they had put two chicken fingers in it and the sandwich would not even close. I had a huge mess. The other people in our party were equally upset. One got chicken nuggets, which were so hard she could not eat them so I took them home for the dogs. Those are pictured...sorry to be so graphic. Another person ordered grilled chicken and got fried. As we left, my MIL tried to warn customers as they were coming in. It was just that bad.
Oh, I'd like to mention that the noise level from the TV's are very loud, so don't plan on talking to the people you're with.
I gave a rating of one star because our waitress was excellent and well-trained.
However, we saw another waitress strip her shirt off immediately as her shift ended, down to her camisole, spaghetti-stringed top before she left. It was quite a show that the management would...
Read moreRemodeled and dead environment with cold food and beyond bad service. Wait for 30 minutes, just to get inside and sit for 15 more and not a single person comes to your table for anything at all. This doesn’t happen once but multiple times within a time frame of 1.5 years. We give up. Remodeling will not help.
Management can’t manage or handle situations and when you ask for a manager the waitress, without checking, immediately says they are very busy (with not even half the restaurant full) and they won’t be able to help you.
Then once you say you still want to speak with a manager, she begins to want to tell you repeatedly the same thing. Then once you step towards a kitchen where you see a manager, and ask for one out loud while she stands as if a BODYGUARD in the kitchen in front of you, a manager appears in 2 seconds. FREE and not busy, and willing to speak with you as he always is. Same overworked manager that the staff runs over because he is soo nice, but he doesn’t know exactly how to manage situations.
We have tried, but this restaurant has gone down beyond repair. They even mess up to go orders. How??
Where is corporate? How do they...
