Big Lots — Local services in Statesboro

We went in this morning and decided to get our daughter a dresser. After waiting a good 20 minutes with no assistance, I decided to go towards the register. The manager i assume walked up and asked if we needed help (mind you he walked past us twice as we were standing there obviously wanting to purchase something). When I told him we were looking at getting a dresser his response was "did they tell you we didnt have it? I explained we had been waiting for assistance for 20 minutes but everyone was standing around the register propped up. He stated that it was cashiers. So I asked was he to a cashier.? He proceeded to continue to blame someone else for not assisting. I showed him which one she wanted he then went to the back and sent another guy out who was more than happy to assist us in our purchase. And he told me that he was sent out to deal with the disgruntled customer. I could not get managers name nor...

When it comes to decorations, they remind me of Hobby Lobby, with the vast amount of different ones you can select from #just beautiful. If you need to shop for a quick inexpensive, but expensive looking gift this is the place to go; which we often forget is located down here. They have alot of beautiful home decorations, especially throw pillows. Now when it comes to cleanliness, the floors could definitely use a good deep cleaning. The women's bathroom is absolutely disgustingly nasty, it could use a professional cleaning company to clean it. Wouldn't recommend no woman to use it until they give it a deep clean. Other than that, I do love the store and what they sale. Employees are friendly I must add and knows their stuff when it comes...

Some of the employees here racially profiled me. Me, who came in with more than enough to buy a bag of chips. I was walking towards the cashier, ready to purchase my chips and they stopped me and treated me like some sort of criminal. They threatened to call the cops and searched me just because I “Looked Suspicious” and asked me if I even had enough to buy the chips. This is how they treat some of their customers. I’ve come here a couple times to purchase and I have NEVER had this issue...
